The language of science is alien to most, especially if it involves an equation or two.
Physics… That’s like gym right? Physicsal Education? Oh man! Sorry everyone! Sorry! Haha… Great comic. Those rockets look awesome and outside does too. 🙂
Although there is a lot of physics involved in physical education, I’ve never witnessed anyone in phys ed class actually calculating any equations.
There’s actually quite a lot of physics involved if you are over 40 – for example you have to work out how far you can bend down and actually still get up!
I guess those things get a little more complicated as people age. That’s why it’s important to keep young by eating dark chocolate and wine gums.
Ah ha, Binky obviously read this –
Yes, I have the right stuff! Take me! Take me!
The last time I applied to NASA, though, they rejected me based on my wombatness.
those glasses make Binky look so intelligent
Would two pair make me look intelligent squared?
If these equations work out will this mean another rocket ride for Binky?
I always have another rocket flight planned, but sometimes there are technical difficulties to be overcome. Otherwise I might have been able to help rescue your stranded comrade.
Wow, Binky is now a Rocket Scientist!
I’ve been a rocket scientist ever since I could walk.
I call it gibberish.
You don’t appreciate a few good equations?
It was my understanding there’d be no math!
You must have been thinking of Winky’s version of Wombania.
Amazing what can be done with a few numbers…
Yes, almost everything can be expressed in numbers if you know how to define it.
You sure put a lot of work into this comic…scene and all. Looks great.
Binky, did you ever get those rockets off the ground?
Thanks, Deb. The more complex a scene is in terms of number of props and characters, the harder it is to deal with, so usually I go for the bare minimum.
I can launch the little rockets without any problems; it’s the big Wombie-sized ones I have trouble with.
Well get them big bad boys out to your beach house. 😉
A beach launch sounds like an excellent idea! And water is softer to land in.
You are brilliant times two. I’m impressed.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
Now I’m blushing!
Is that the same as “Gibberish”? 🙂
Am I the only one who appreciates the irony of a good unbalanced differential equation?
All I can actively recall is “is over of equals percent over 100”. And I still may be mistaken. 🙂
So I guess it’s safe to assume you don’t solve equations for fun.
It’s a foreign language to me too, Fraz!
I’m holding classes on Physics as a Second Language, if you’re interested.
How about asking him something in that language your school teacher calls “arithmetic”?
I haven’t really learned that language very well.
So this is where you hide your Chocolate stash is it? 🙂
I knew that there was more to Physics than just calculations
and formulas, how wicked of you Binky 🙂 lol
Have a wonderful rest of
evening and a cooltastic Friday 🙂
I hide all of my chocolate in my physics textbooks. So far no one’s found any of it.
I thought he was humming 🙁
Physics is music to my ears!
Oh-no! Binky has lost it! Quick someone get him some chocolates and winegums!
Damn! It’s so hard to right my e-mail right when you don’t have any fingers..
Perhaps you should have a talk with Hjörtur to see if he couldn’t draw you a couple of fingers. It’d make life a lot easier.
I haven’t lost it, but I would certainly appreciate the chocolate and wine gums nonetheless.
Physics? It sounds like bad language to me! 🙂
It seems as if the majority would agree with you, but I think of equations as fun!
Maybe he can build me a spaceship?
As soon as I get my design perfected, I’d be glad to build you a spaceship. We can’t let Burt Rutan have all the fun!
:)+TG+(3)Binky= Happy Thanksgiving weekend Binky. Did you get it did you? 🙂
🙂 = Happy
TG = Thanksgiving
(3) = 3 day weekend
Binky = me!
Happy Thanksgiving weekend to you, too, Catherine!
I didn’t know Binky was scientific.
Well I am a rocket scientist, after all.
Hey! is this what you wanted my surplus rockets for?
happy thanksgiving =)
Yes! Some would claim I’m obsessed with rockets, but I’m just focused on my goal of being the first Wombie in space.
I hate physics!!!! it should be erased from the world
You don’t really mean that! Physics is very important and plays a roll in almost everything we do, from moving and walking, to building houses, cars, boats, planes, and rockets.
I know Bink…but I think only those who want to learn it should learn it…those who hate it can vote not to study it in school 😉
That sounds fair, but I think it’d be a good idea for people to be taught a basic understanding of physics, though.
That kind of talk really impresses the girls, Binky.
Hmmmm, I think not, we probably prefer the simpler languages of chocolates and champagne!!
Will chocolates and wine gums do? I have plenty of those.
I need to find those girls! Twink usually isn’t all that impressed with my formulae, I can tell.
So this is where you hide your Chocolate stash is it?
I knew that there was more to Physics than just calculations
and formulas, how wicked of you Binky lol
Yes, when someone is looking for chocolate, they don’t think to look in my textbooks. Physics and chocolate go well together!
That’s just physically exhausting.
I think for the listeners, more than for me.
I am married to a rocket scientist. This is my life 🙂
And it must be a very happy life, to be surrounded with all those physics equations!
Binky is my favorite because he speaks my language! W.C.C.
Most people just find me boring. Or incomprehensible.
oh man… physics… my least favorite language… I mean studies. They should seriously declare it as a separate language 😉
If physics was considered a separate language, it might help a lot of people understand it. Or maybe just avoid it.
I feel like this about some of my friends. Its like they are almost alien when they start getting into programing.
Programmers have all the fun!
I speak in ‘punctuation’. This one (?) is my specialty!
That’s my favorite one, too!
