Scrabble can be a difficult game, especially if you can’t speel spell well.
Really funny – I love it !
I think this holds true for the way most people (probably due to the emergence of texting) spell nowadays! 😉
I find it hard to spell without spellcheck!
Well you find it hard without Spellcheck because you get distracted eating all that delicious chocolate, and here is another bar just for you Winky 🙂
That’s true, I was so. . .
Mmm. . .
What were you saying?
I always use spellcheck too!! your language (read:English) sometimes too difficult
Maybe I should learn Indonesian, then!
hey, texting is not in the scrabble dictionary!
“Spellcheck” always shows up as an error, too, but I think I’d let that one go.
I guess Scrabble isn’t really Winky’s game… maybe he needs to find one that involves chocolate!
I’d be King of any game that involves chocolate!
Can he spell it or just eat it?
Chocolate was the first word I learned how to spell!
Bwahahahahaah. I think I’ve played with him before. Yes, I’m sure of it. Some folks and some wombats just can’t spell.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
If Scrabble came with a built-in spellchecker, I’d do a lot better. And if it told me what words to use, that’d help me even more.
Scrabble is a fun game. I like the way Binky plays. Negative points for bad spelling certainly makes things interesting.
But kind of discouraging!
You are a tough scorer Binky. I can imagine Barry & Cedric in the same situation. Cedric would score lower than a negative number though.
Lower than a negative number? Is that like negative infinity plus one?
No probably a bit lower than that
That might be difficult to achieve.
At least he got his lines spelled correctly. LOL
That’s what spell-check is for!
Yeah, without spellcheck I probably wouldn’t spell anything right! Not even when I speak!
Good to see a tanlet at work. I can’t match that.
I can always handle another chocolate bar!
Aww. Poor Winky.
Then again, at least Binky didn’t have to explain what negative numbers were
I know what negative numbers are because that’s usually what my cookie allowance is in.
Hahaha… I feel Winky’s pain!
(I tend to misspell things so badly the correct word doesn’t even show up as a spell-check option!)
I thought that only happened to me!!
Wait, I know why Winky couldn’t spell! Look at the font size on those scrabble tiles! Completely illegible!
That’s right, that was my problem! I demand clear fonted letter tiles! And “fonted” is a word, I’m sure!
Hahaha! That’s a good idea, issuing out penalty points for people who can’t spell. 😀
But I don’t want penalty points! Not unless you chocolate coat them.
I’m with the SpilledInkGuy…My spelling a howwible….and the spell checker once again let me down…lol
Did people actually spell before spellcheckers? Hard to believe!
Don’t worry Winky, I have already written an official complaint to the Scrabble dictionary people asking them why winegums and chocolatechipcookies aren’t included !!!!
I suggest until then you play Kerplunk!
Thanks, Loon! I haven’t played Kerplunk in ages!
You know what’s even more fun? Wine gum Kerplunk. Instead of marbles, you use wine gums. The only problem is that everyone tries to lose.
Seriously Winky I think you are onto a winner….Winegum Kerplunk…genius!!!!
I’m a genius!!
Did you hear that, Binky?!
Yes and then we can all play that Bukaroo game, that should be fun while we sort out all these chocolates 🙂
I won’t argue with games and chocolates and wine gums!
Or Spam and Pancakes 🙂 Yum
I won’t argue with those, either!
Wait until he hits a triple word score!
I think I’ve already got enough negative points!
lol, awesome. The negative score reminds me of the old Celebrity Jeopardys on SNL.
I don’t believe I ever saw those. I only watched the old-old-old ones.
No letters could describe how funny this strip is! Very clever, Peter!
Thanks, Mark. I’ll give you an “A” for that comment!
You know Wink…I smell deception here.I think Binky is making it up so that he can win the game
Yeah, I think we need an independent score keeper. Someone who can be bribed with wine gums.
Makes sense to me.
Obviously, you’re very sensible.
Ha! I’m in the same boat.
Well I hope we’re not sinking!
Me too, as another ten of our great friends have just jumped aboard 🙂
I hope they all brought life preservers just in case!
That sounds like my mother she is a wiz at scrabble and I am terrible.
If I could use a dictionary or computer or smartphone or something, I’d be a lot better!
I stink at spelling and I blame Bill Gates for this. That red squiggly line that appears when I spell a word wrong has ruined me. Negative 50 points for me 🙁
PS: I spelled squigglly and spelt wrong. Then changed them, except for the ones in this PS.
But if it wasn’t for the red squiggly line, I might not be able to spell anything right! I think the scrabble board needs a red squiggly line, too.
to be fair to Winky I think too much chocolate has clouded his spelling… and Binky you should be only allowed to play games of this kind of skill with other rocker scientists 😉 any chocolate left??
I don’t usually consider too much chocolate a problem, but maybe you’re right!
I think Binky would be better off playing Scrabble with other rocket scientists too, but there aren’t a lot of them around here.
Haha darn those negative points! not fair!
I think negative points should be banned!
hm… I didn’t know it too… 🙂
You learn something every day with Binky.
