The wheel has been around at least 5,500 years, but the invention of the Squeel (square wheel) can be credited to Winky.
Not bad Winky, but I think someone already invented a similar device. Called a brake. 🙂
perfect for parking on hills !
surprised no-one thought of this sooner 😆
I know! I can hardly believe it, either! I think my Squeel will make millions!
The square wheel is okay, but what I really like is the square hubcap (squbcap?).
I never thought of just selling the square hubcaps, but that’s a good idea! Squbcaps here we come!
You could get a sponsor ship. Sell squbcaps for all the hotsie brands.
That should work! I wonder if Ferrari might be interested in my squbcaps?
Oh that would be a brilliant match for you! Have you considered Formula 1?
Not until now!! I hear there’s big money in that!
Ridiculously large squeelbarrows full.
This is sounding better all the time!!
I hope there’s a ‘wagon-alarm’ on that thing…
it would sure be a shame if it raced off with all Winky’s hard work on board!
There isn’t any alarm on my wagon. You really think someone might steal it?
They might not steal it but someone could squeel it instead so watch out for any of those squeeling bandits Winky 🙁
I guess I’d better! I didn’t realize how dangerous it was out there.
It is only dangerous if there are Squeeler Bandits around but don’t worry Winky as I have left some Skeletons here for your protection 🙂
Thanks, Andro! I don’t think anyone will be trying to steal my squeels now!
Yes and if they did you would have a bone to pick with them 🙂
Yeah, a whole bunch of bones!
I want to see it pop a squealy.
That might be hard to do. Maybe if Binky would install some rocket power.
Where can I buy one? I need to install two on my kid.
That could be a big seller! Strap on Squeels for kids!
Personally I think the squeel is a great idea. I think there are wheels on way to many things these days and I would more things to be stationary.
Squeels: When you don’t want to go anywhere!
I think Binky is just jealous that he didn’t invent it!
Yeah, I bet he is! I’d like to see him come up with something better!
Like a rocket with square wheels!
Shhh! We don’t need to give him any ideas!
I think it’s a brilliant invention. Brilliant.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
Thanks Sandee! No one ever says something I’ve done is brilliant!
Binky’s problem with the squeel is that it he can’t apply the math of the wheel to it.
You’re probably right! Though I wouldn’t know what kind of math you apply to any wheel.
Have you ever heard that A equals Pi R squared?
I think I’ve heard Binky mumble something like that before. I think pies should be round, and wheels should be square.
After sitting a long time, my lawn tractor had a set of those. No question those will prevent ANYTHING from moving!! W.C.C.
Are you saying you invented the square wheel before me? Oh no!!
His is only square on one side. I think that still qualifies you for a patent.
That’s a relief!
I agree with Laura. The squbcap will be the real money spinner. Make them loose fitting so that they fall off at speed & get lost then people will have to keep buying replacements. Although I am wondering if the Squeel will operate at speed
The Squeel is designed more for stuff that you don’t want to move. But the squbcap could be made for round wheels. I could make them loose fitting, and spinning, too!
Smarter than your average wombat!
haha, I guess that’s looking at the bright side of things.
You mean there’s a bad side to my invention?
Once in a while my smarts come out!
Wow, that’s a great invention with a great name! You continue to amaze me, Winky 🙂
Thanks, Marieke! Maybe I could make a set for your car or bike or whatever you have!
I want a set for my roller blades.
Little squeels! Roller blades could be another good market I never thought of.
Think about how awesome the skateboard market would be! No more falling off your board because it slid out from under you. You could put the knee, elbow and butt pad industry on its duff.
And we could call them Squeelboards! All the cool kids would have to have them. This could be much bigger than I imagined!
I think you are going to need an agent.
You want to be my agent?
Just think…you’ll never have to fix a flat!
Yeah, every squeel comes with four built-in flats!
I wish the grocery cart that rammed my car today had a squeel.
Hey I bet you had a squeel in the form of a squeal after that happened, I do hope you are okay? 🙂
I hope your car wasn’t damaged. Maybe I should talk to your grocery store and get them to use my squeel carts.
OOh you wish may come true! 🙂
I think Winky is a wise inventor and this Squeel should take off really well, especially as it won’t roll down hill when we are unloading all our chocolates, pancakes, spam, wine gums 🙂
I hope so! Squeels could be a runaway success because they won’t run away from you!
I think that you deserve a Squeely Wheelie Award for this one Winky 🙂
Oh boy, my first inventing award!
Yes and one of many I should think? 🙂
I hope so! Though I can’t really think of anything else to invent right now.
Hey Winky, this could be very useful on our trip to Mars, and if you get lucky we might be able to sell some to those Martians? 🙂
I never thought of that! Maybe I could sell them to NASA too, since they like to send a lot of vehicles to Mars.
Yes and maybe even sell some to the UK so that their next Rocket to nowhere might be more successful 🙂
Are they having problems? I didn’t know that. Maybe Binky could help them out with their rockets, too.
Yes they could use his vast knowledge of Rocket technology 🙂
I’ll let Binky know he’s needed in the UK. Maybe he’ll bring us back some of your wine gums!
It will also keep him out of your hair whilst you make a fortune with your squeels.
Yeah! I guess it’s a doubly-good idea then!
Actually that’s not such a bad thing. Ever been out of control on a runaway bike?
I’ve been pretty much out of control on everything with wheels. Squeels are good because they slow you down a lot.
Well I squeeled with laughter!!!
If you squeel, but you’re not a squeel, maybe you need some oil.
Are you offering a loon a massage?
I don’t really know how to do that.
I do 😉 lol
And with oil, too. 😉
I would like to buy 3!
Do you have a trike? Or maybe you just want 3 squeels and one wheel.
With three you can always tilt to use the normal wheel to move your object.
That’s a good idea, like a wheelbarrow or something.
Squbcaps are more my style
Squbcaps are quite stylish. They also make great earrings, I hear.
You’ll squeel if a sqeel land on your foot. 🙂
Probably! Your feet should stay out of the way of squeels.
Ha,ha,ha! Top shelf funny. Bravo!
So I can put you down for a set?
Look Out, There’s A Squeel About 🙂
Hopefully a lot more than one!
Probably really hard to change a flat
Yeah, because all squeels are already flat. So you’d be changing a flat for a flat!
“Squeel” is a better name than a “Whare”. That could get a tad confusing. “Get the spare “whare” outta the trunk! Where’s the ‘Whare!?'”
Yeah, that would be confusing. I’m confused already!
I don’t think a tomato would make a very good wheel, though.
Flat and squishy.
Yeah, though on the positive side, you could always eat a tomato wheel.
Better than figuring out who gets eaten first when you are stranded, eh?
Deciding who gets eaten first is always kind of an awkward situation.
Looks like a bumpy ride!
Yeah, that’s a bit of a problem. I’m working on it.
I you could get the sqeels to transform than you would have the perfect product. Transformable squeels! 🙂
That’d be a great idea! Round to go, square to stay. Now if I could only get that to work.
All’s squeel that ends squeel 🙂
As long as you’re having a squeely good time!
I think I’d ‘squeel’ too if I couldn’t roll along. 😀
But sometimes you need to stop rolling, too!
Question: How can you make it roll if they are square??
Squeels are for when you don’t want something to roll away. So getting them to roll is a bit of a problem.
LOL. So when is the informercial for it coming out?
As soon as I can get some high-powered backers!
Very funny idea and exchange. Well done.
You might be on to something with that. I mean that would work when going up hill.
At least you wouldn’t be rolling back down the hill!
Genius Alert!!! Winky’s so brilliant and creative. Next time I’ll make a portrait of him.
Oh boy, I can hardly wait!!
I saw in some movie bicycle with similar wheels, but as I remember, it wasn’t too much comfortable 😉 But for sure your things won’t roll away, so it’s great idea 🙂
The rough ride is something I’m working on. Maybe I’ll make my squeels round!
Oh hey, I been there been square not rare!
Square is rare for wheels, though, isn’t it?
Nice I love it, It they were detachable that would be a valid option for when you don’t want things to roll away.
That’s a great idea! Detachable squeels! I like that.
haha perfect! I’m changing my tires to squeels tomorrow!
Great! You won’t be sorry! Well, unless you actually have to go somewhere.
I think you got a pretty good idea Winky. These could work really well is San Francisco….till it’s time to roll. How about automatic changeables from square to round as needed?
It would be really great to be able to change them from round to square wheels, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to do that yet.
Study the bottom of airplanes. Maybe that will give you the aid you need.
Airplanes? Okay. I’ll try that.
Good then! I can’t wait to see what you come up with…could be a real money maker for you. Just think. Winky the the rich Wombie
Between this and my Power Lemmonade (TM), the money should start rolling in!
The squeel does have a ring to it. And an onamonapia to it.
I think some oil might fix that.
