Evil Knievel Fraz might need a little more practice.
Here’s a video of Ed, an orphaned wombat joey (baby) that is being raised by his human carers.
Happy dance , happy dance …I’m here first 🙂
The undisputed first place commenter! Try not to eat the super deluxe Wombanian dark chocolate trophy in one sitting, Loon.
I don’t think the ladder will reach.
It was okay, we didn’t need it. Fraz fell out of the tree.
I think you’ll need an extension ladder. And a lot of band aides
Band aids and chocolate!
And a great big triple thick milkshake when you get down!
Yay! I kinda fell out of the tree a while ago.
Well then, I guess you better drink you shake!
I already did! It was yummy!
Well have another one just because!
OK I will! And I’ve got some wine gums to share!
That’s very generous of you, Fraz…thank you.
Here, you’ll need another milkshakes to help wash them down.
Oh boy! I’ll get some cake from Twink so we can celebrate!
Oh! She makes the best cake! Cut me a big piece!
P.S…Pinky is trying to talk to you way down there.
Maybe Pinky was hiding! I didn’t see her. She could come up here and have some cake with us!
I was sort of MIA.
I’d love big piece of cake. I hope it’s chocolate!
It is chocolate cake! With fudge icing with M&Ms! And we have chocolate milkshakes too!
Mmm, just what I love! I have lots of room in my stomach for it too!
You’d better because we have lots! Lots and lots!
What a cute little baby wombat. I’m sorry about the mom, but and glad he is saved.
Many of the wombats that end up in care are the result of the mother being killed, usually being hit by a car.
I can’t stand to see any animal dead on the road as a result of a car hit….it breaks my heart.
It is very upsetting. In Australia, I believe you’re supposed to check any animal you’ve hit to see if there are any joeys (babies) in the pouch. They can often be hand raised by carers and are later released into the bush.
Out here is just road kill…..too sad to think about.
Fraz will be a pro in no time!
I just need a little more practice!
See? I told you to attach rocket boosters! 😛
I know! But Binky wouldn’t let me!
Poor Fraz. He’s going to have to cool it for a bit and heal up before he tries this again.
Wombats are adorable. Loved the video.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
Fraz needs a helmet and full body armor.
Glad you liked the video, Sandee.
Just keep trying, Fraz, you’ll make it next time! Loved the video, too! Wombats are really adorable!
Next time I’ll use a rocket skateboard!
In which order?
I don’t care as long as I get chocolate first!
That is one way to use your head.
I’m glad I have a pretty hard head!
Fraz is the perfect name for this energetic tree jumper! Hope the little dare devil is okay… will we see on Thursday???
Great video. I’m grateful he was adopted by loving people.
By the way- I think it’s wonderful that you are so passionate about these furry creatures. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in educating all of us. It matters.
I’m OK! Us Wombies are pretty tough!
I’m glad you’re okay Fraz!
Some chocolate and band-aids fixed all my booboos!
Thank you, Pam. Actually, the most visited part of the website by far is the Wombat Information section where you can learn everything you never knew you wanted to learn about wombats!
Thank you! I’ve been to that page and I will return there. 🙂
Most people don’t know anything about it, so I’m glad you found it!
And a score of “10”!
A 10?? Yay me!!
He’s more like Super Dave Osborne! Do you remember him, Peter?
No, I’m much too young to remember him. Okay, actually I do!
He’s so cute!
And stuck in a tree!
Take him to the tree-age. STAT!
I thought I was already in the treeage!
First! No wait…
You’re the first of the last.
At least you got some good air time
And I got a lot of tree time too.
Fraz, you jumped pretty high for a skateboard, keep dreaming!
Little Ed likes to bite, poor teddy bear, LOL.
I jumped as high as I could! But it wasn’t quite high enough.
Wombats do bite a lot. They can even bite to say hello!
Do you do stuff like that often, Fraz?
Yep! I do stuff that scares Twink all the time!
My little brother Buzz likes to scare us too. He’s a little rascal just like you, well maybe you more of a little rascal.
I’m not a rascal! I’m a tough pirate! Arrr!
I hope you got that epic jump on video!
I would have if I could’ve gotten the camera to work! Maybe Fraz will do it again.
Oh my gosh, he’s so cute!
I’d rather be tough!
Just JUMP Fraz
I did! But I think I need to jump again!
Awwww… Little Ed is so cute. It looks like he has the dog bluffed
If you have a wombat in the house, he definitely will be the boss.
Oh my my will a parachute help Fraz?
It probably would have! I’ll wear one next time!
Awwww that baby wombat is soooo cute!! but I think he has more interest toward his owner’s pant than the teddy 😉
Does Fraz try to be tony hawk?
I’d like to be Tony Wombie Hawk!
Wombats like to chew a lot!
By the way, I found this while watching the video above in youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5z4cyb6L78
it makes me want to have a wombat too
That is a cute video of a wombat. In most places in Australia, though, it’s illegal to have a wombat as a pet.
It’s illegal to have turtles as pets in England 😉
I didn’t know that. I guess you’re glad you don’t live in England.
(Little V) Fraz, that was a little dangerous. Ed is so cute and so funny.
(Red) I love the look the dog gave Ed. My dogs would do that… which is probably why they were sprayed by the skunk.
It was kinda dangerous, but I like danger! I was wearing my helmet though. But I wasn’t wearing a parachute.
I can imagine the dog trying to figure out whether or not the wombat is going to take his place in the family.
LOL With as badly as they were sprayed, it was a lot like having a skunk in the house for a few days.
That’s always fun! It’s amazing how effective and overpowering skunk odor is. It must be many times worse for a dog’s sensitive nose.
Ahahaha…saw the reply to the second comment! Hope that wasn’t mean of me 😛
No, I don’t think so. Wombies falling out of a tree is kind of funny!
You did well getting that high, you nearly made the biggest jump ever there but maybe next time 🙂
Here have some of my choco lollipops as a nearly over the tree top prize 🙂
It’ll be the tree jumping champion if I can make that tree jump! I think next time I an!
Fraz wait I am sending you that parachute…. and please stop practice for the olympic so early it is not until next year.
But I like to jump! I could be the best tree jumper in the world! OK I guess I wait for your parachute.
