The value of pie is in the eye of the beholder. And in the taste buds of the consumer.
The value of Pine is proportional to the size of the forest. Oh wait Pie. Uh, nevermind.
If a pie falls down in the forest, would there be anyone there to eat it? Other than me?
For me, it goes
Cake < Pie
I'm not sure why but I just LOVE pie. That being said…
Pie < Dry Rub Pork Ribs
Of course, not much beats ribs.
Chocolate beats everything for me! But luckily, you can have almost anything in chocolate. Chocolate cake, chocolate pie, chocolate pizza. . .
Only if I don’t get to it first!
Actually, I’d share the fallen forest pie with you.
This reminds me… have you seen the movie Pi?
No. It sounds a little too scary for me. Though I might be able to eat my way through it.
Actually I prefer my pie with ice cream, not fish.
Loon smells like fish
on a good day 🙁
Then I’d hate to smell you on a bad day!
I suggest you stand down wind Winky 🙁
With a big clothespin on my nose! Just in case.
This is why I always get hungry during math classes.
I know what you mean! They should serve sacks with math.
Tell me i’m a good person 🙂
my favorite set of numbers 187209458340011
Of course you’re a good person. You visited us here!
My favorite number is 1. Well, 2 is pretty nice, too. And so is 3. Actually, all the numbers are my favorite.
What about the number 5? I always thought that number looked sort of angry.
I never noticed that. 5 never seemed angry to me. Maybe he has some unresolved issues?
Maybe it would have a better value if it was chocolate pie…
I’d be willing to test out your theory! Chocolate pie is delicious!
I’m making chocolate fudge today, Winky. Maybe I’ll put some wine-gums in it….yum.
Mmmm! Chocolate fudge! Now I’m dying to have some!!
…wait a second, didn’t Fraz get that assigned to him before?
You might remember it from when it was posted a long time ago, before the site was reorganized.
I just noticed something. When is “Thurday”?? “updates Mondays and Thurdays”
Well that’s embarrassing. Actually, it was a test to see if anyone would notice, so I guess you get the prize. Where can I send the fish pie?
Well if I win a prize sometime I would like a chocolate cake with some fudge on top, so how about that for being ghoulishly cheeky? 🙂 lol
Have a nice rest of day and evening Binky 🙂
Chocolate cake with fudge on top would be vastly superior to fish pie. But better not let Winky hear about it, or he might go crazy.
The value of pie is directly related the size of the pie, and it’s contents, I would think!
Very very true! I think I need to get a bigger pie pan.
i agree nothing beats a good hot homemade apple pie.
The smell of homemade apple pie alone is enough to die for!
Though I am called the Scholar, I am not one because of math. I like math in theory but my theory needs readjusting.
Math isn’t my best subject either. I might be able to be a chocolate scholar, though.
Heh-heh…that’s one pie that can’t be sliced. 🙂
And no one would want to slice it or eat it anyway.
how much of ‘pi’ does he want? 😉
Usually the whole pie. But if you’re feeling generous, you could give me 3.14 pies.
Love it. No math fans just pie lovers lol.
I bet there are way more pie lovers than pi lovers!
I’d rather eat my way through a nice pie too. Just saying. It’s easier too.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
And much more tasty!
I love March 14th – Pie day. 3.14 🙂
The newspaper version of the cartoon was published on Pi Day (or at lest that week) a few years ago.
It also depends on how hungry I am when someone asks 🙂
That’s true, but I’m always hungry!
I like pumpkin pie and pecan pie, but chocolate cream pie is the best.
How could I have forgotten pecan pie? Or pumpkin! There are so many really good pies! So hard to choose!
The value of pie depends on how good you are at Trivial Pursuit.
Those little pies are way too small. And too crunchy.
I love both – apple and blueberry. Yummy! You know what’s good 🙂
I know my pies! You could say I’m a pie expert.
Enjoying your comic is as easy as, well… pie! 🙂
Pies taste much better, though.
Math pretty much always looses out to my stomach!
That’s for sure! How can you compare chocolate to fractions?
chocolate dipped fractions would be a whole lot more interesting! I doubt a large fraction of them would escape my grasp! 🙂
Chocolate covered fractions would definitely make math more yummy!
People are always confused about pie. I know a college professor who told me (Pie) r (square). I told him he was completely wrong. Pie are round. Cornbread are square. I am available for tutoring even though I haven’t tooted ina long time.
I’ve never seen a square pie, but maybe someone makes them.
I really like cornbread! Do you tutor how to make cornbread?
Yes…but it will cost you a pie.
That’s a pretty good deal, because I could make lots of cornbread after to make up for the lost pie.
I don’t care about its circumference, as long as it has a flakey crust!
A lot of people think I’m a little flakey, but I like to think of myself as special.
I remember seeing Wombat Day Cake. Can we expect to see a pie this October 22?
Yay, Wombat Day!! In just over a month!
Wombat Day cake is the tradition, but a Wombat Day pie would be a good substitute. The trouble is trying to make a pie in the shape of a wombat. Maybe I’ll make some Wombat Day fudge instead.
Hope your Wombie village is fairing well. Or fairying well?
Thanks for instructing the younger generation on the value of Pie. And Pi. Can’t always wait for schools to teach these things, you know.
We’re expanding our range by taking over islands and forests everywhere. Look out, the Wombies are coming!
Schools don’t teach enough chocolate and pie-related subjects.
Hmmmm…what’s that mean Bink? the price of the pie?
3.14159 is the true value of pi, which is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Don’t listen to Winky, he always thinks with his stomach.
No offense Bink…but I better listen to Winky.i have no idea what you are talking about….i am after all still3years old 😉
Yay! Let’s go get some pizza, Kroten! (They used to call it pizza pie a long time ago!)
the value should always be measured by the size of the subjects stomach & if that flavor is one of their favorites. If it was chocolate, I would be fighting over it with you Wombies, but if it was coconut I would let you have it all 😉
Chocolate pie wins hands down, but coconut pie is good too! Coconut pie and coconut milk! I should go to a tropical island.
I think a nice tropical island with lots of chocolate cake would be nice, what do you think about that Winky? 🙂 But I wouldn’t mind the chocolate pie either you know, or the coconut, or even the milk… All for one and one for all 🙂
Chocolate coconut pie with chocolate cake and coconut milk on a tropical island sounds like paradise to me! (With enough to share with all my friends, of course!)
I could just eat some of that delicious pie next, but I would prefer chocolate cake you know? lol And don’t forget the fudge on top…
Have a funtastic rest of day and evening Binky 🙂
Chocolate cake with fudge on top??!! Why didn’t I think of that!! You’re a genius!! I’ve got to try that!! Yummy tummy food for sure!
I notice all the double entendres being implied out here. But since you ask, I prefer pecan pie.
Pecan pie is near the top of my list too!
Hahah, I prefer the first (and delicious) definition of pie 😉
All the smarter people do!
Winky: Where did you get your avatar photo?
I got my photo at the Wombie Portrait Studio.
Why would anyone consider using chocolate dipped fractions?
Because chocolate dipped fractions taste so good!
