It’s hard to find a good show on TV these days, no matter where you are.
They have everything they need there, including the popcorn. Wombats know how to relax!
We’re experts at relaxing!
Chris is acting like there is something wrong with that!
Chris whines about everything we do!
But you gotta test out the furniture before you buy it! I say the Wombats got it right
That’s true, but we really weren’t going to buy the furniture. Don’t tell Sears!
Ha Ha Ha Great final panel. I thought they were at home. Hope none of them needed to use the bathroom. Do Sears sell toilets???
I don’t know, but they usually have pretty nice restrooms.
P.S. I saw a dead wombat on the highway the other day. He was lying there with his legs pointing skyward all stiff & rigid looking. I thought of you guys & felt sad for your little cousin. I always hate to see poor little animals on the roads.
Now a moments silence please…
Ok that’s it. Stay safe guys & keep off the roads
That’s sad. Poor little wombat! The roads are dangerous places for any animal.
Don’t tell Phil and Chester about that. They have been spending too much time traveling already. They might head off to Australia.
No wombat eating!
Sears you say? Hmm?????
No, Chris said it was Sears. I was too busy eating to really notice.
I don;t think Walmart would mind!!!
Maybe, but Sears has the comfy furniture right by the TVs which makes it better than home.
Maybe Sears needs a Door Policy
Are you saying they shouldn’t have let us in? Then where would we get to watch a big screen TV?
They didn’t make enough popcorn for everyone at Sears? That’s pretty selfish.
I didn’t think of that. Sorry everyone!
Hahaha… just a little try before you buy! Gotta’ test out that merch!
Even though we really weren’t going to buy it, it was a nice TV.
Who paid for the popcorn?
Twink did. She always does.
I think all big stores should have a lounge area for husbands and wombats to relax while the women shop.
That’s a great idea! We need to tell the stores about this.
I’d be more worried about where they got that popcorn from
I bought it at the drugstore.
Sears has free popcorn? BRB
No, I had to slip out to the store next door to get the popcorn.
something you could have told me before i went to Sears.
Well next time you’ll be better prepared.
It’s true tho…so hard to find good show on TV lately (although I am glad I have found the best series in decade)
Sears is a large department store chain in North America. Something like a Walmart.
What TV show? Does it have turtles or wombats?
Ow!! is it fun to watch? 😉
You seemed to enjoy it.
Unfortunately,Winky, it has no turtle or wombie. It’s about one annoying genius named Sherlock with his ordinary friend named John.
We see all the best movies at Sears!
I guess you’re talking about Sherlock, the BBC series. I never saw it, but it sounds good (even if it is Wombieless).
I indeed talk about that BBC Series 🙂
Do see it Winky…maybe you can be as genius as he is
I’ll try to watch it if I can. I’d like to be a genius!
Hahaha! They know how to live the comfortable life.
My kids and I do the same thing at Best Buy. We find the widest TV with best sofa and the loudest sound system and just vegetate.
I never thought about the popcorn though. I’ll have to try that next time. 🙂
You’ll probably have to bring your own popcorn, but it’s a good way to watch movies!
Best Buy sounds like a good place to try.
Oh you brought your own!
I had to go out and buy some at the nearby drugstore since I knew I wasn’t going to get any peace unless Fraz had something to nibble.
I wonder if there are any sweets and pancake shops, just in case we don’t have enough popcorn 🙂
Don’t give Fraz any bright ideas or we’ll be having a four-course meal in the store!
At least Chris arrived before everyone got thirsty. 🙂
It would have been nice if he had brought us drinks, though. I’ll ask him to do that next time.
I think some wine gums would have been a nice treat too 🙂
Yeah, wine gums would’ve been very nice!
Wait. They have microwave popcorn at sears? Their microwaves are plugged in? I’ll have to remember this.
No, we had to bring our own popcorn. But there are usually outlets around, so you can plug in the microwave to test it. I tested it four times. It worked well.
Glad they didn’t need the bathroom, hilarious!
We didn’t have huge drinks, so that was avoided!
Yeah I have tried this but usually those TV’s are on a loop so I keep
watching the same Sears commercial over and over again and I get
bored! Cute Toon! W.C.C.
You should get them to play a DVD movie so you can see how great their TVs are.
Do Sears sell water beds? Everyone could have been relaxing on that while watching the big screen tv, eating popcorn and sending Chris to the sweet shop for a big bag of wine gums 🙂
I’m not sure if they have waterbeds, but it sounds like a great idea! We’ll have to try that next time.
Great I will look forward to that one Winky 🙂
Not at all where I thought the joke was going. Good twist.
I never know where they’re going with anything.
Well most of the time they are going for the chocolate.
That’s quite true. Just follow the chocolate!
I say Winky and the gang had the right idea. They got what they wanted, and them being so comfortable on the sofa and watching the tv is a great sales pitch for sears….Everybody wins….Go wombies!
I totally agree!
That is great. To cute. I wish our sears handed out pop corn, or did they bring it themselves.
We had to bring the popcorn ourselves, but it’d be awesome if Sears gave it away in their stores. But then I’d probably never leave.
Love it, your cartoons are so cute and lovable. You can’t help but laugh.
Come on in, Wombats, make yourself right at home. Kick your feet up, stay a spell. Can I get you anything? A cold drink? A mall security cop?
Anything but security would be good. Some chocolates would be especially good.
I want to go to the stores with Winky and Fraz. They have all the fun. Can I, can I?
Sure, you can come, Cici! We’d have lots of fun together!
Ha,ha,ha! Seriously funny!
Only if you weren’t there!
Great punchline. well done.
C’mon – they’re just trying out the merchandise!
We’d buy it, too, but Chris said no.
Perfect lifestyle!! They are SO clever. Can I join their team? Please.
I’ll bring gianduia… (DE-LI-CIOUS Italian chocolate)
Of course you can join us! And if you bring chocolate, we’ll love you forever!
Going to make popcorn!
Somehow it always tastes better when you make it in the store.
Yup, popcorn tastes better in a department store.
Yeah, at least until they chase you out.
This one made me laugh out loud!
Glad to hear that, Joyce!
well you gotta try it before you buy it.lol
And even if you don’t buy it, it’s still nice to try it!
Ha! I wondered where this one was going, but as usual I was not disappointed. Good one!
