Some customers require too much service.
A wombat bath. Oh, the indignity! (from the Sleepy Burrows website)
and they are honest 🙂
Good morning Loon
I see that you have reclaimed
the first place spot :0)
Share your chocolate
prize or else? :0) lol
Now, now, no fighting over the super delicious extra dark chocolate First Commenter trophy!
Yes we are all competing
for the big chocolate trophy
Peter… Maybe on Thursday
it will be my turn? 🙂 Yaaaay
There is always hope for next time, Andro.
Honesty is the best policy!
Looks like the complaints department at my local shire
Maybe they’re telling you to move.
This is a great cartoon strip
Peter and yes the customer services
these days are hopeless…
Enjoy a fantastic Monday,
it was minus nine last night
and this morning my car
door was frozen shut at the
drivers side… It’s okay now
though (08:20) Yaaaaaay
There’s not a lot of service in customer service these days.
Minus nine is pretty cold! Spraying the weatherstripping around your doors with silicone spray helps to prevent them from sticking.
Thank you for the tip Peter,
it’s a great idea and I will certainly
look around for some, it was minus
thirteen in Scotland last night…
That’s about the temperature it was here last night. It’s still -7 with the sun up.
That was a short video Peter
but that little Wombie was definitely
enjoying the scrubbing she gave
him 🙂 I think Wombies are better
at getting bathed than cats and
dogs 🙂 lol
Most animals don’t seem to enjoy a bath, though a few do.
We Hate You is pretty straight to the point. I don’t think this store wants to make any money today.
I have an Ed Wombat bath comic in draft. The lady seems to have gotten wetter than Clipper did
Once a business has your money these days, they don’t like to give it back.
Did Ed enjoy his bath, or was he forced into it?
Forced by the Rangers but I won’t give too much away yet
I might have to send in Binky and Winky to rescue poor Ed!
You’re right about that Peter,
they are eager for the sales and
once it has been achieved they
like to wash their hands with
you… It’s a common trait these
days unfortunately 🙁
Yes, it certainly seems to be the way these days.
Great cartoon, Peter, and it represents the truth about customer service.
Love the wombat video too!
Thanks, Deb. Customer service isn’t what it used to be.
It certainly is not.
Fraz’s customer service is pretty good, though.
Fraz is excellent at customer service….all of Wombania is!
Free chocolates for everyone!
I could use a delivery
It’s on its way!
Got it! You must have sent it over night express….thank you, Winky!
I did! You shouldn’t have to wait for chocolates!
Now that’s what I call customer service…thank you for all you do!
You’re welcome, Deb. I like making people happy!
You made me very happy!
I’m happy you’re happy!
Please always makes things (a little) better.
The world needs a lot of better.
I’ve never seen such honesty.
Maybe you don’t shop in the right places.
The Wombies may need to teach the store that “Customer and especially the Wombies are always King’!
Customers should be king, but they rarely are.
You could not have a stronger statement my friend…. and that is after they took quickly our money!
They’re a lot better at taking our money than returning it.
Some places are just like that. They hate you and you know it. Some are great though.
I want a wombat. So cute. He’s was enjoying that bath very nicely.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
Yes, there still are some businesses who know how to treat a customer, though they seem to be getting rarer all the time.
Having a real wombat would definitely be a challenge.
Customer service is horrible! What I really despise about it is that the word “consumer” is used now instead of “customer”. I feel consumer is so derogatory. I am a CUSTOMER!
Customer service has degraded a lot over the years. You’re right, we are now all just consumers.
PS – The wombat certainly loved the scrub on the belly and armpits! So adorable!
He seemed to tolerate it well!
I think the wombat liked the little scratchies. 🙂
I think he liked the attention.
Isn’t that the truth? And a sidenote – If you’ve been hung up on after waiting for customer service here’s what’s happening……..they are timed on their calls and they will get in trouble for having long calls so if one takes too long or they can tell you are going to be a long call they can shorten their average by………..hanging up on you.
Really? I didn’t know that, but it does explain a few things. And all in the name of customer satisfaction, I’m sure.
Oh, isn’t this the truth, Peter! Great cartoon! I’ve been critiquing customer service a lot lately and haven’t been too happy with it. It’s almost like with all the technology people don’t know how to communicate in person. But you would think they would be properly trained. Well, I could go on and on but I won’t. 🙂 Have a great week!
Thanks, Lauren. It does seem that many people have lost the ability to communicate in person. You probably would be better off texting in your complaint or something.
That looks about right.
BTW, I tried to visit your site earlier, but something was wrong. I’m glad it’s back up.
Thanks for letting me know, Joyce. I didn’t realize there had been a problem.
Honesty is not always the best policy!
It’s good for scaring away customers, though.
Funny how meaningful this toon is to me while sitting in the airport. wcc
Well I hope you experienced better service than this. And I hope your flight was good.
Customer service? Is that still around?
Not around here.
hahahaha if I work as customer service, I’d probably do the same but instead of saying I hate you, I’d write I’m Bored, please go away and find me a new job 🙂
Customer service probably isn’t the easiest job to do day after day.
You have to appreciate their honesty!
At least you know what you’re getting. Or not getting.
