A phantom grilled cheese sandwich just isn’t the same.
This plan backfired!
And I didn’t get my grilled cheese!
I have a stack of pancakes here with you name drizzled in syrup on it.
I’ll be right over!
Tink can run off as many as you want on her pancake maker!
I think I might be there all day eating her pancakes!
Perfect Grilled Cheese Sandwhich:
Use REAL butter. Make sure it is soft when spreading it.
Fry both pieces of bread until golden brown.
Add the cheese between the bread and pop it into the microwave for 10-15 seconds or until cheese has melted.
I used to try and melt the cheese while still frying it in the pan… this = burned grilled cheese.
That sounds good! I’ll have to remember that for next time. When we actually have some cheese.
Noooo, your taste buds were all ready for grilled cheese… so cruel.
I know! A grilled bread sandwich isn’t the same!
I was dissatisfied alright!
Isn’t it the thought that counts, Fraz? 😉
Maybe but my stomach was hoping for a grilled cheese!
Do you think you got a taste for a milkshake?
I think I might!
Here’s a triple thick triple chocolate fudge milkshake for you topped with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and a chocolate covered cherry…let me make you three!
They were good! All three of them! Thanks aunt Deb!
I know the feeling, but I hope Deb’s milkshake satisfied your taste buds for awhile. Maybe you should go shopping for some cheese, though, just in case…
My reply landed in the wrong place, sorry! 😀
Don’t worry about it, Lauren. It probably wasn’t you. WP sometimes doesn’t put the replies where you think they should go.
Winky got some cheese later so it’s all good! My tummy was satisfied!
It really hurts now.
Offer him some chocolate, David…he’ll feel better.
I can always use some chocolate!
My stomach’s growling!
Awe, Winky…how thoughtful of you.
I tried, but it didn’t turn out very good.
Toast is better than nothing at all.
But some cheese woulda been better!
Nothing beats an all bread sandwich!
A bread sandwich is what I was waiting for!
Like the cheese, the logic is missing. The reflections in the table are spectacular – I wish we could get an accidental glimpse of the reflection of the artist.
Thanks, Mike. I don’t think I’d want to ruin a good thing with my reflection, though.
Yep, but it’s a disappointment now. Too funny.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
It was disappointing to my tummy!
Ah, ha ha! I got a great laugh out of this! 😀
My stomach didn’t!
Can’t argue with that logic.
I thought it was pretty logical.
A grilled cheese just has to have cheese. It hasta’ 🙂
Maybe I could add the cheese tomorrow.
Kinda reminds me of my husband ordering a mushroom swiss burger — no mushrooms and no swiss.
Well I hope he got a burger!
Maybe call it zero-fat, zero-calorie, zero-flavor, zero-substance cheese on that sandwich! Or is that just as disappointing?
That leaves a funny taste in my mouth.
That’s a Gull style grilled cheese. Bread and bread!
I don’t think I wanna be a gull then!
Well he certainly meant well Fraz, I just hope that you were given some of Winky’s special chocolate treats as a reward for not complaining too much 🙂
I know Winky tried but I was all set for a grilled cheese! We did have some chocolates after though.
And I have brought you a
large bag of wine gums for
you too Fraz 🙂
Oh boy! Thanks Andro!
It’s the thought that counts & Winky thought Fraz would like just toast better than nothing at all
I guess it was a good thought but my tummy still wanted some cheese!
I hope you are having
some cheese on toast
today Fraz 🙂 Yaaaaay
Winky did get some cheese later so I could have my grilled cheese with cheese this time!
Those two bread slices need something to stick them together!
Yeah! Like cheese! Or maybe chocolate!
Or even cheese and chocolate,
that could be a winning combination 🙂
Chocolate cheesecake is really good!
That’s very sweet of you, Wink…though you eventually disappoint him anyway 😉
Yeah, I know. I guess it was going to disappoint him no matter what I did.
