Utilities can be pretty expensive when you house a bunch of Wombies.

LOL 🙂 Thanks for the
laughs Peter, you certainly
know how to produce a
positive effect for a Thursday
morning 🙂 Awesome…
Thanks, Andro. Just don’t get Winky to read your meter.
Oh dear, I think you’ve
just been crossed off Chris’
Christmas card list Winky,
but never mind, I have some
extra yummy chocolates
for your attention 🙂 Yaaaaay
I sure hope not! I love Christmas!
Hey Chris, if you need
a job doing right it is best
to do the job yourself,
ahhhhhh well, time to explain
the error and hope that
your bill is adjusted accordingly 🙂
Yes, that is very good advice, especially with Wombies around.
Bwahahahahahahaha. Bless his heart. Bless his heart.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
Thanks, I think I need that!
Curse those utility companies! Wait, no don’t curse them. I like my indoor plumbing, electric, natural gas, and trash removal. Bless their hearts!
It’d be hard to live without electriicty and all that other stuff.
Oh boy, you better leave that too Chris! 😉
Next time I will.
Oh Winky, don’t you know that is how you can get a chunk of coal in you Christmas stocking!
I don’t want coal in my stocking! I want chocolate!
You made up a number, Winky! That is so clever. You must be very proud.
I was! Until Chris got all made and everything.
Winky gets points for being considerate. 😉
We had a meter reader a couple of years ago who made up the readings on our entire block. After a few months of really high bills we all caught on. Haven’t seen him since. Fortunately, that was the first and last time that happened. Those readers usually do a terrific job in probably stressful circumstances.
Sorry for the ramble! Great comic Peter!
I thought I was doing a good job!
Interesting story, Pam. You must wonder what that person was thinking. And what would be the benefit of inflating the readings? He wouldn’t get a cut of it.
I know! I couldn’t figure out his motivation. Probably wouldn’t have cared if the bill had been lower. LOL.
No one would have complained about lower bills!
Is that coming out of Winky’s pocket?
I don’t even have pockets!
Twink has a pouch, though.
Arguing that bill is going to be a pain too. Companies like when you make big mistakes like that one.
Maybe I could bribe them with chocolate.
Yes, but the refund is going to be fantastic next month.
I should get half of that since I’m the one who made him get the refund!
You can’t blame Winky for aiming high!
I wish you’d tell that to Chris!
Winky never had any bad intentions. He never got high marks in school so he does it here 😜
I bet even Binky never got a bill that high!
Well, if that bill is paid this month, you should be set…for life!
That should make Chris really happy!
auch. Poor Chris
He does always say he’s poor.
Making up a number is more fun than reading a boring old meter. Quit whining Chris & just pay the bill. And think how much you’ll be paid up in advance the next time they take the proper reading
I was hoping to win the lottery with my number, but it didn’t work out that way. Chris kind of likes to complain about everything. But it would be good that Chris wouldn’t have to pay another bill for a very long time.
Winky, you need to explain to Chris you actually did go to the meter reading class…
Well, I kind of didn’t though. I guess that’s the problem.
The class teaches you to guess for a few months before you actually go read the numbers…
I think I should go to that class!
