Autumn Eco Tour
The beauty of autumn is even more rewarding if you can make a couple of bucks off of it.
(This comic strip was previously published on October 18, 2010.)
American artist Debbie Adams gave little Fraz his very first car–a little red Corvette. Fraz was thrilled! And even though he doesn’t have a licence, that didn’t stop him for going out for a long drive. The original post of Fraz Mobile can be seen on Debbie’s art blog.
That’s one sharp ride, and he got his own vanity plate too!
I’ll take you for a ride if you want!
I was thinking that Winky could
help you with this enterprise? 🙂
He might throw in some extra
chocolates for you 🙂
He might but he’s my biggest customer!
Fraz is just trying to raise money for gas for his new car! Looks like he made his first buck too!
I always need more gas money! Even though I own my own gas station!
Yeah, but it’s fun to make money when they want to give it to you!
It is! Then I can buy some gas at my gas station and pick up a pizza at my pizza place!
Oh boy! Would you deliver one to me!? 🙂
I’ll drop off two on my way by!
Thanks Fraz!. I’ll be at your beach out this evening to watch my Friday night show…love your big screen.
I’ll have milkshakes ready for you when you arrive!..all your favorites!
OK! I’ll bring some fall leaves too! Not to eat though!
We can jump in them!
That’s the best thing you can do with leaves!
I can only imagine what the insurance would be on a red Wombiemobile. xxx
I doubt anyone could afford those premiums.
Thank you for posting here the drawing I did of Fraz! It’s always an honor.
It’s always great to have your art here, Deb.
🙂
It’s a brilliant painting Deb 🙂 xxxx
Thanks Andro! 🙂

Advertising is key. How else will I know that I can’t live without something I never wanted.
I never know what I want until someone tells me I want it!
Ha! Well… you know… I’m pretty sure there’s… um… a map included in that price… um… right?!
🙂
I didn’t get any map!
You don’t need one,
you are part of the tour
and can ad-lib if anyone
asks the way 🙂
I’m part of the tour? Maybe I should have dressed up!
Yes, it’s all about the advertising.
Love Fraz’ corvette. Awesome.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
With advertising you can sell anything! But not my Corvette.
It’s the brochure that pulls them in
I need to make a brochure then! Whatever it is!
Fraz is quite the entrepreneur! Next he will sell big plastic bags to customers for them to “harvest the leaves” aka rake!
Deb, your drawing is great!
That’s a good idea! And I’ll only charge you $5 for every bag of leaves you take!
That’s some seriously low overhead!
I thought the sky was high!
At least Winky gets some beauty for his cash – I have to pay big bucks just to get people to haul off trucks full of nasty dead leaves! W.C.C.
Maybe I should go into the leaf hauling business too!
Oooh you should charge $10 for a look through binoculars.
I better get some binoculars then!
Or maybe $20 through a telescope 🙂
And a telescope!
Or $1000 from your rocketship?
Binky better get his rocketship finished soon so I can start making big bucks!
I never thought there would be a market for bottled water.
http://joycelansky.blogspot.com/2013/10/gbe2s-three-story-challenge.html
Maybe I could sell bottled air!
Advertising can be expensive. Especially if your wife falls for it.
I don’t know. I don’t have a wife.
So true. Advertisment can move any product or whatebever.
I know! It’s great!
After you complete your tour, I have a nice bridge next to my house that I can sell to you for a great price. I call it “Golden Gate Bridge”. Hopefully you know about it?
You own that bridge? It’s famous! If I bought it, could I take it home?
I agree there is nothing like a good sales technique and Fraz and Winky are experts when it comes down to a winning slogan 🙂
I hope you get lots of tours 🙂
I haven’t gotten that many yet. Maybe I should give them some free chocolates with the tour.
This is a great cartoon strip Peter, and with the colours looking so vibrant how could anyone fail to take a look, Fraz and Winky Enterprises are always fun and never too expensive 🙂 A bargain at only $5.00 🙂
Thanks, Andro. Well Fraz thinks it’s a bargain, anyway. And Winky. But I’m not sure about anyone else.
Note to self, put 100 ads on blog.
Make sure you put up good ads. Like for chocolate!
Oh, Google just randomly puts stuff on. I suppose if I start writing about chocolate then I may get chocolate ads.
Then that’s what you should do!!
I highly recommend having some of that fresh, crisp autumn air to breathe while you’re admiring the colors. It comes in stately maple and late autumn oak scents. Only $3.50 for 10 minutes – a bargain!
That does sound like a bargain! I’ll take some maple air!
Wombats are behind nature trails, aren’t they? 😉
Uh yeah! You can send your money to me!
I bet the free self viewing doesn’t include an eco-tour though
I thought it did! I was cheated!
P.S. A bloke at work last night was telling me he has a friend who goes hunting & regularly eats Wombat. Apparently the young ones are better eating. GASP!!! I was horrified.
Hmmm… Young ones are better eating…
Hey Fraz, wanna come to Tasmania for a visit???
Perhaps someone should hunt him!
I can almost taste him now. Marinated in a sticky sweet spicy cajun style sauce & cooked to perfection on my BBQ.
Go for it!
Tasmania is off my list!
That is one hunter that won’t
be getting any chocolates 🙁
He should get a big spanking! That’s what he should get.
What??! Are you saying that you don’t have to pay for fall?!! I pay five bucks every year!!
No, you have to pay! If you don’t you can’t see the beautiful colors!
It’s like Hanami in Japan, people come to see the sakura blooms and have picnic under the trees…tho I don’t know whether they hhave to pay or not
Maybe I should give it a name then. It makes it sound better. Maybe Frazfalli! Then I could charge more!
Frazfalli? what does that mean?
Hanami is very simple… hana=flower; mi=see . Maybe you should call it Frazsee 😉
Frazfalli was just Fraz plus fall plus an extra i to make it sound good! But Frazsee is good! Frazsee tours, only $10!
Wohoo! Fraz learned!! Awesome!!
I like learning how to make money!
Fraz, I think you have been taking marketing lessons from the automotive industry.
I learn from the best!
