Chicken Fingers
Wild wombats like to bite each other as a form of greeting. Fraz is reluctant to give up the tradition. Or maybe it’s just because he likes chicken fingers.
(This comic strip was previously published on March 21, 2011.)
Our great friend and blogger Andro found Binky on the beach reading his quantum physics book as he waited for the Wombat Day festivities to begin. Andro’s original post Wombat Day 2015 can be seen on his blog.
Biting each other as a form of greeting could be alarming (if you’re not used to it). lol!
It would be a rather strange custom.
Ouch! Peter’s right Fraz; a simple verbal “hello” would be just fine. 🙂
Yeah but I like biting better!
I thought he liked wind gums, chocolate and cake? Now he likes chicken too. I know, everything tastes like chicken.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
I’d rather chew on some wine gums but I didn’t have any with me!
It keeps everyone on guard though. 😉
People who know me run away when they see me coming!
Fraz, you forgot the BBQ sauce!
Chris gets all upset with me when I try to squirt that on people!
Raising puppies right now, I can tell you, their form of greeting is very similar! Haha!
Nice factoid about Wombat’s too- thank you for always giving us such great information.
Andro’s drawing is wonderful!!! I really dig his style.
Raising puppies can be quite a job. I hope they don’t take over the place!
Andro’s drawings always add some colorful fun to this place.
He wasn’t trying to say Hello. He wanted a snack!
I was kinda hungry!
You’re always hungry 🙂
That’s because they never feed me enough!
So what’s Fraz supposed to do? Sniff butts?
Ewww!!
I dread to think what you do, Fraz, when you’re REALLY happy to see people. I hope it doesn’t involve a knife and fork.
No not really. Unless you’re a chocolate cake!
Oh, that’s good. I’m safe. I’m almost certain I’m not a chocolate cake.
I was kinda hoping you were.
Who’s saying hello? It’s lunch time.
He’s not really very tasty!
I think the Vampy training
is starting to show signs of
progress 🙂 lol
Chris doesn’t like me practicing on people though!
Thank you for adding
my picture, Binky does
look comfortable as he
waits for the parties
to begin 🙂
Have a great Sunday evening Peter 🙂
You’re welcome, Andro. I guess Binky found a good book he could relax with.
I was of the understanding that we humans taste like pork
Maybe Tasmanians taste like pork!
Chris, how do you know if someone is sweet if you do not at least lick them?
I think I’d prefer not to know.
