Fraz you’re joking, what, wut, never? A bin hungrier than our quick snacking, always noshing, greedier than anyone in Wombania, food monster, chocolate, wine gum, pancake, cookie eating Winky now that is definitely a first 🙂
This cartoon sketch is brilliant Peter, I like the way Fraz is high on the stool and is right up against the bin, chatting away 🙂 A typical youngster inquisitive and funny with it too 🙂
They did have talking garbage cans for a while in a few markets, though it probably was a gimmick that didn’t last. Maybe people didn’t like garbage cans telling them they shouldn’t be throwing throwing things out.
Ah talking about politeness…some parents just don’t teach their children to say thank you 🙁
I was sitting next to a 1st grader in my school and asked him whether he wants a cracker or not. He said yes and he took two, he ate them greedily and them left without saying thank you. I made mental note to tell his homeroom teacher but I wonder why didn’t his parents teach him that. My 3 year old nephew always said thank you because we had been teaching him to say that word since he could talk.
They did have talking garbage bins for a while in a few places, but I don’t think they do anymore. I guess the idea was to encourage people, especially kids, to use them.
Yes, a lot of kids don’t have very good manners. At least your nephew isn’t one of them!
You know reading that strip reminded me of how some who are unsure of the Japanese tradition of bowing keep bowing…not knowing when to stop because it might be rude! hehehe
A rubbish bin of few words 🙂
He didn’t have a lot to say!
What does it say when it’s full? 🙂
I don’t think he’s ever full! Sorta like Winky!
It just talks rubbish 🙂
He did kinda say the same thing over and over!
Don’t be feeding him any of our favourite chocolates Fraz 🙁
I gave him some nice chocolate bar wrappers though!
He can have all the wrappers he likes 🙂
I gave him a lot!
Hey Loon are you having
a fun week so far 😉 xxxx
Andro when its full it talks in burps and farts lol
It looks to me that Fraz was being a bit to “Pushy” here. 🙂
I wasn’t trying to!
I always knew, that you have good heart, Fraz 🙂
It just seemed liked it was kind of lonely and no one was talking to him.
Did he answer with anything but thank you? Maybe a German one would have ben better, I know that Dave would have liked that 🙂
Then he would have said danke, danker, or is it danka? 🙂
All he said was thank you. I don’t know what it would be in German.
I think Danke 🙂 lol
Danke for that!
You’re welcome Fraz 🙂
🙂
Aw, Fraz, you care about everyone and everything. 🙂
He needed someone to talk to.
He was kind of lonely I guess? 🙁
I think so. He was in the corner all by himself!
Probably Chris’ fault that 🙁
Most things are Chris’s fault. Don’t tell him I said that!
Don’t worry I never tell Chris
anything that will incriminate us Fraz 🙂
That’s good! I’m usually in enough trouble on my own!
Can you care about if the can can feel lonely?
I can!
Nobody wants to be friends with a trash talker, except maybe Fraz. 😉
I don’t mind being friends with him!
Poor garbage can 🙁
Yeah. I wanted to take him home, but Chris wouldn’t let me.
Whose in the can?
The can is in the can. Don’t you have talking garbage cans where you are?
Maybe, but if they do talk I can’t understand them because they speak German. Which I need to go work on…
Maybe you could try teaching them english.
They already know English… they just refuse to speak it to me.
Maybe you should give them chocolates. That makes people happy! Then maybe they’ll speak to you.
Looks like he might be hungry, too!
🙂
He does eat a lot! Even more than Winky!
Fraz you’re joking, what, wut, never? A bin hungrier than our quick snacking, always noshing, greedier than anyone in Wombania, food monster, chocolate, wine gum, pancake, cookie eating Winky now that is definitely a first 🙂
Well maybe I was kinda exaggerating. But the trash can does eat a lot! Especially after lunch!
A Winky clone perhaps? 🙂
It could be! Maybe it was watching Winky eat and got jealous!
Or maybe it was Winky hiding in there hoping for some extra foodstuffs 🙂
No, Winky was sitting with Chris. So it couldn’t have been him!
Was Chris eating chocolates at the time? 🙂
I think he only ate a couple. He’s no Wombie!
That’s pretty nifty, I wouldn’t mind having one of those.
Chris wouldn’t let me take it home, so maybe you can!
I am always polite too when myy wife does this to me – except that she shoves in Pop Tarts! W.C.C.
I’d like that! Pop tarts are good!
Bwahahahahahahaha. I love this.
Have a terrific day. ☺
🙂
As an only child, that trash can would have been my best friend. 😀
He was pretty friendly!
No trash talk coming from that can! She’s nice!
I thought she was a he!
Machines need love too.
They do! Especially when they’re friendly.
Thank god my trash can doesn’t talk. It would be screaming, Empty me!!!!!
Your poor trash can!
I’m glad mine doesn’t talk ‘cos it might complain that I eat all the good stuff
My trash can doesn’t seem to mind!
Maybe one of Jack’s Gulls is in there doing the talking???
It didn’t sound like a bird, but it could be!
Are you sure it’s the trash can feeling lonely, Fraz?
I think so.
Fraz is a very considerate disposer!
He was a very friendly trash can!
LOL, I can see my husband doing that if we had a talking garbage can!!! 🙂
He must be like me!
Fraz, always kind and cute. <3 <3
I’m just being me!
That new Frazewbacca costume you made for me is the best ever!
This cartoon sketch is brilliant Peter, I like the way Fraz is high on the stool and is right up against the bin, chatting away 🙂 A typical youngster inquisitive and funny with it too 🙂
Thanks, Andro. Fraz needs the stool to reach it. And he’s always there to find new things to explore.
Yes he would climb
inside given half a chance 🙂
I never thought of that! Maybe next time!
I will help, but don’t
get stuck in there okay? 🙂
I’ll try not to! I don’t think I’d like to be stuck in a garbage can!
Fraz is always so polite, Chris should be pleased about that instead of pointing out the obvious 🙂 lol
I think Chris kinda wanted to go home. I wouldn’t have minded if I could have taken the trash can home with us.
I will make some room in the boot for it, or should I say in the trunk, in the UK it is boot 🙂
That’s funny! You’d have to have an awfully big boot to put the trash can in it! I mean our kind of boots for feet!
Yes it’s funny that isn’t it Fraz? 🙂
Yeah, bigfoot boots!
Be careful Fraz. Whenever I start talkin’ to inanimate objects my wife starts watchin’ me and askin’ if I think I might need to see a doctor.
OK, I’ll be careful! I don’t want to see the doctor! Especially not after what they did to Chris!
Wasn’t that a Vet that sorted Chris out? 🙂
Yeah, but Chris was really grumpy after that visit! I mean even grumpier than normal!
Now that is really grumpy, no
wonder the Vet wanted to muzzle him
for growling so much, typical of Chris 🙂
It’s too bad they couldn’t find a muzzle that fit!
A friend is not a friend until you talk to it or them,
Yeah! Or until you feed them!
How can it be lonely with all of the wonderful trash filling its belly?
http://joycelansky.blogspot.com/2013/09/wordless-wednesday-four-leaf-clover.html
I dunno, but he seemed kind of lonely! All by himself there.
Nice. Such a good soul Fraz.
I just thought he looked lonely.
You are a kind Wombie Fraz 🙂
I don’t like people to be lonely.
Or bins either, and he is a friendly bin 🙂
He was pretty friendly!
I’ve never seen a talking garbage cans in the states. Do they really exist?
They did have talking garbage cans for a while in a few markets, though it probably was a gimmick that didn’t last. Maybe people didn’t like garbage cans telling them they shouldn’t be throwing throwing things out.
Is such a trash bin exist?
That would be lovely 🙂
Ah talking about politeness…some parents just don’t teach their children to say thank you 🙁

Yes, a lot of kids don’t have very good manners. At least your nephew isn’t one of them!
Kids can’t be blamed, it their parents fault. They are lucky if they have other people who can teach them a better manner
Yes, that’s very true. Someone needs to teach the parents better.
Aww, Fraz is a such a nice wombat 😀
You know reading that strip reminded me of how some who are unsure of the Japanese tradition of bowing keep bowing…not knowing when to stop because it might be rude! hehehe
That’s interesting, Shree. I can see how things like that can happen when we’re not really familiar with another culture.
