I’ve wondered that myself. I’m constantly amazed by the lack of intelligence in the world! Did you know that machines don’t work when set in the o.f.f. position?
Omg…someone I met just mentioned that last night too! And it’s true, isn’t it? We depend so much on technology we’ve lost the capacity to actually think..and it’s made us some what even more isolated that we’ve forgotten how to have common sense and decency too, a lot of times!
We expect somebody else to be our brain.
Perhaps I should market an artificial brain, then.
I’ll have to consult my smart wife and get back to you.
I see you already have a surrogate brain.
I don’t know what that is. I’ll have to get back to my smart… alec kids and get back to you.
You seem to be torn in many directions.
Too much watching!
That’s probably part of the problem.
Siri, write a comment! (the machines are thinking for us, now)
I prefer to think for myself.
I’ve wondered about that too. I think it’s more than the smart stuff we surround ourselves with. I’ve an idea, but not sure if I’m right.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
I really don’t know. Maybe people are just getting lazy since they don’t have to think any more.
Not enough input where
it matters is the reason ?
And perhaps not enough grey matter as well.
You’re right there Binky,
There seems to be a dummy
in every crowd these days,
even more if you count
the zombies ?
Yes, I think the dummies and Zombies are taking over our world.
We need more traps ?
That would be wise.
Yeah, the world expects us to just think they’re smart, whether they act like it or not.
The people or the machines?
That’s the million dollar question, Binky. 🙂
And it would probably take more than a million to figure it out.
I think you’re right!
I think you both should have some cookies and not think about it.
I’ve wondered that myself. I’m constantly amazed by the lack of intelligence in the world! Did you know that machines don’t work when set in the o.f.f. position?
The less people have to think, the less they do, I suppose. I think it will soon come to a time when our machines cannot be turned off.
I agree with Lauren.
If I had a million, I’d give it to you to answer it.
oh my gosh, don’t even get me started!!
Have a wonderful day today!! 🙂
I know, sometimes it’s better not to think about it.
I ask this question ALL. THE. TIME. lol! – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any good answer.
The gadgets may be smart…but how smart is the user?
Increasingly less smart, apparently.
Omg…someone I met just mentioned that last night too! And it’s true, isn’t it? We depend so much on technology we’ve lost the capacity to actually think..and it’s made us some what even more isolated that we’ve forgotten how to have common sense and decency too, a lot of times!
Technology can be wonderful, but it also has its dark side. I wonder how long it’ll be before technology is so smart, it’ll no longer need us?
