The Powers of Fraz
Everyone has powers, not just super heroes. Use them wisely!
(This comic strip was previously published on August 23, 2010.)
This is an older drawing by Debbie Adams, but we thought it was appropriate since tomorrow is International Talk Like A Pirate Day! Deb’s original painting can be seen on her Captain Fraz and His Two New Pirates Find Gold! post.
He who has the remote controls the house. My wife usually has ours. Use it wisely Fraz
YAY!!! I beat Loon & Andro to the 1st comment!!!
Congratulations, Tony. You get the Super Extra Deluxe Mega Dark Wombanian Chocolate First Place Commenter Trophy! Eat it wisely.
Hey how come we never get that Super Extra Deluxe Mega Dark Wombanian Chocolate version? 🙁 lol
It depends on whatever chocolate Winky is making at his factory at the time. I’ll let him know you’d prefer the dark chocolate trophy next time.
Cool, don’t tell Loon 🙂 lol
I’ll try to keep it a secret, but you know Winky!
Yes he always blabs 🙂 lol
Have a superb start to your
Monday Peter 🙂
Hey it was Formula One over
the weekend and Louis Hamilton
won and is now leading the
championship 🙂 Awesome result 🙂
Thanks, Andro. You too. Maybe Louis can keep winning and end up with the championship this year.
Hey well done Tony, and you deserve the 1st Place Chocolate Trophy, I just hope that there will be enough for everyone, well at least for Loon and I, we always enjoy eating other peeps chocolate 🙂 Just kidding Tony 🙂
I wouldn’t mind sharing it, too!
Winky, you can share all of our chocolate trophies 🙂 Just don’t eat them okay? 🙂 lol
What? No! I want an eating share!
Okay, I will save you some of mine,
and a special chocolate lollipop for being
such a great Wombie around here 🙂
I like chocolate lollipops! Thanks!
Yes you did Tony. The reason? I spent the day trying to find your new blog site 🙂
I think Tony is in the witness protection program.
Gotta keep on the move
And you do an excellent job of it.
We need him signed up for the chocolate 1st prize programme too, the one where he arrives just after me 🙂 Don’t worry Tony I always share my chocolates 🙂
I don’t think he’ll go for it, Andro.
My plan worked perfectly then. Distract your opponents then swoop in for the chocolate prize
Nicely distracted there Tony
but don’t be making a habit
of it 🙂 lol
You outplayed everyone this time, Andro.
That’s a good strategy, Tony! All’s fair in war and chocolate.
P.S. Don’t let Twink have it Fraz. Once a female gains possession of the mighty power the male will never get it back. Ever!!!
Don’t worry I never let anyone get the remote! I wanna be the one who controls the world!
Fraz, you need Binky to invent
a ‘MY REMOTE – KEEP OFF’ belt
and that way the remote is in
easy reach, and more importantly,
out of the paws of everyone else 🙂
That’s just what I need! I’ll ask Binky to make me one!
I always use my super powers wisely!
You’re the best Fraz 🙂
I try to be! Just like you, twin!
We are great aren’t we Fraz? 🙂
We are! Everyone says so!
It’s the twin concept,
and you and I make
the best twins ever 🙂
Here have a large bag
of wine gums, they are
extra juicy one’s 🙂
Thanks! We’re like twin kings! Or maybe king of the twins!
Don’t forget about the great responsibility to find something good to watch! Because even if nothing good is on, it will be the fault of the person holding the remote!
That’s for sure, Bill!
Yes, and that power can cause lots of problems! 😉
Maybe that’s why I’m always in trouble!
Sadly, the mute power doesn’t work in real life.
I keep trying it on Chris and Twink but they never shut up!
Yes, use them wisely.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
I will!
Great cartooning Peter, I can almost hear the multiple clicks from that remote control, as Fraz zaps it in the TV’s direction 🙂
ZAP, zap, ZAP, zap… Z A P
Thanks, Andro. Remotes no longer click like they used to, but we can still get away with using that convention.
That’s true, no idea why I said click but hey it’s better than having to get up to change channels 🙂 Yaaaay
I used “click” in the cartoon since it’s generally accepted, even though it doesn’t really apply anymore. I don’t know how else to represent it.
That’s true, it’s funny how when we read something that the operative wording sticks in one’s mind, and ‘click’ certainly stuck in mine on that comment 🙂 lol
I think it’s more the action than the sound it makes, as in some peeps just hate it when someone continually changes channels like that, as Fraz clearly demonstrates in this one, and he definitely enjoys himself with it too 🙂
Yes, I guess it is more the clicking action of changing the channel. Soon everyone will be watching their own thing on their smart phones I suppose.
First the remote, then the world!…bwahahahahaha!
Yep! I shoulda wore my pirate hat though. Then I coulda been a pirate superhero!
LOL… that’s true Deb 🙂 xxxx
Thank you, Peter, for reposting my picture of the Wombie pirates!
You’re welcome, Deb. I thought it was fitting for Talk Like A Pirate day.
Aye! 🙂
Arr!
Oooooo, arrrrrr matey 🙂
Arrr chocolate!
t’ more chocolate t’ better!
Arrr-xactly!
You two have the Pirate Day thingy going wonderfully in this one, I forgot all about that until I noticed the Pirate mentions 🙂 lol
It won’t be long before Wombat Day and Halloween, so I hope everyone will be participating this year, there is nothing like a bit of fun and Wombania is always the best place for that 🙂 Yaaaaay
Wombat Day is the best day of the year!! I think I’ll dress up as a wombat for Wombat Day!
Remote control freak!
It’s mine! All mine!
Fraz is so right! He who holds the remote has the power and the responsibility to… ah, who am I kidding? My hubby holds the remote and I watch far too much sports, motorcycles and cars.
Yay Deb! Awesome drawing and yes! perfect for Talk Like a Pirate Day (which I had no idea about).
The remote control controls the house! That’s why we always fight over it!
Deb has done a number of pirate drawings since Fraz likes to be a pirate so much, and they’re all awesome!
Pirates are so awesome. But I’m biased . . . 🙂
Pirates are the awesomest! Maybe you can join me on one of my pirate trips on my pirate ship!
You have me smiling for this t.v. remote control funny episode of Fraz!
Thanks, Robin. The remote has its powers!
Hey Robin it’s lovely to see you here in Wombania, grab some of these chocolate lollipops and a wicked milkshake, it’s vanilla and lime, or triple choc and cookies? I like both 🙂 Yaaaaay xxx
We all like our chocolate around here!
Thanks, Andro! I love chocolate and also, vanilla malted milkshakes! Glad to have taken the time to visit here! Smiles, Robin
All the chocolate here is free! And no calories, either!
The one with the remote rules the household.
That’s why I always try to get the remote!
Hey Loon give it back,
it’s all mine 🙂 lol xxxx
We might have to fight her for it!
When I was a kid, the idea of changing a channel, without getting up to do it, was unheard of. That is great power!
http://joycelansky.blogspot.com/
And then came those wired remote control boxes which were incredible!
With great power comes great and endless use of batteries!! I know this mantra well! W.C.C.
Batteries can give you a lot of power!
I forgot to mention how wonderful Deb’s painting is, so here is a big bag of wine gums and lashings of marshmallows to make up for it 🙂 Hey Deb don’t forget to share those with me 🙂 xxxx
That’s my pirate crew! On my pirate ship! We have lots of fun adventures!
Love it. Remotes are the best.
They are! Too bad they don’t work on people though.
We’ve come a long way from getting up, turning the knob and adjusting the antennae!
What? Is that what the dinosaurs did?
Haha! That’s what my kids would say!
Your kids are smart like me!
If the remote brings power, my husband is the most powerful person in the house. 😀 🙂
He who holds the remote, holds the power of the universe!
This instrument can divide the world…. I just hate when it is out of my reach… for everything else you can eat more chocolate.
I try to never let it go! That way no one else can get it and ruin my day!
And along with those great powers comes a very strong thumb!
I’ve been training for years!
Hear hear!! He who possess the remote controls the household entertainment
And that’s the most important thing to control!
