They Don’t Make Hammers Like They Used To
Maybe if hammers came with a laser-guided sight they’d be easier to operate.

Our long-time Japanese friend Chieko sent us a Happy Wombat Day picture for 2012 featuring two real wombats, Chewbacca and Hiroki. These two Common, or Bare-nosed Wombats live in zoos in Japan. They’re both 27 years old, among the oldest wombats ever known. You can see thousands of pictures of these wombats and others on Chieko’s Womland website.
I had a baseball bat like that when I was a kid. That’s why I took up hockey.

How could you forget breakfast? It’s the most important chocolate meal of the day! At least until lunch.
I was working too hard…that’s how. But that’s okay, I got some work done, and now I’m fixing the breakfast. I’m frying up some spam and then dipping them in chocolate and of course topping them with wine gums…what some too, Fraz…I got plenty?

That took up most of the afternoon to fix. So we’ll just have to have it for dinner.
Spambo burger cover with chocolate,
Mashed chocolate potatoes with choco gravy.
No sprouts!
Chocolate berry pie, with choco ice cream…wine gum on top.
Mixed chocolate assortments of every kind for a side dish.
And for desert we’ll have double decker triple layered wine gum creamed chocolate marshmallow pies…the ice cream kind.
Oh yeah, and a bowl of wine gums.
Dink! I was going to surprise Fraz with all that!
That was the bestest lunch/dinner I ever had! I think I need to rest now.

I have one of those defective bats too! Winky can hit balls with it, but it never works for me! At least yours worked some of the time.
I have several different hammers and none of them work!! And, Fraz, you, Winky, Twink and Binky are much cuter than the ones in the wild or the zoo!!

Laser sites definitely is a good idea. You could patent the design & make a fortune. The Japanese Wombats are looking well for their age. I have no idea of their normal lifespan
I think Binky might be working on that. I hope he shares his fortune with us.
Wild wombats probably live to about 10 or 15 years on average but there’s not a lot of research on the subject.
