Yep, there’s been a Victa lawn mower commercial on lately that has been shown so many times I am about ready to throw a coffee cup at the TV. I bought a brand new Victa mower last year so why doesn’t buying their product stop the ads on my TV like it does for the Wombies???
Yep, it’s that time of year again. When the holiday sales, and after-holiday discounts are over and channels have so few commercials, they put the same ones in every commercial break.
Hey, if she says that enough times, maybe commercial breaks will dissapper altogether!
Yes, but I was hoping for commercial-free, free commercial TV. But that’s probably too much to wish for. I suppose there’s always PBS or other public or government supported TV without commercials which will have to do.
We don’t have television so I don’t have to worry about watching commercials over and over. I do like your cartoon though. Right on the money if you ask me.
We manage just fine without someone telling us what to buy. I so can relate to this cartoon though. People will buy it if they see in on television. It’s amazing the power of advertising. 🙂
Cute… and true. Fortunately I don’t watch that much and 90% of what I watch I either have paused live TV or recorded and time shifted. Either way I can FF through the ads.

Perhaps the laws of commercial TV work a little differently in Wombania. Or perhaps buying one lawn mower just wasn’t enough.

It’s worth a try. If we all protest enough, maybe we could enjoy commercial-free TV.
Doesn’t that already exist? Certain cable channels that cost an arm and a leg?

Have a terrific day. 🙂
No television?! How in the world do you know what you’re supposed to buy?

I guess I should be advertising on TV . . .
I’m still wondering what to do with this lawn mower. I don’t have a lawn.
Don’t worry, Bearman. We have a surplus of high-quality lawns we can sell you at an unbelievably low low price.
Whoa! That’s some serious High Def 3D television viewing! Ha,ha,ha!
All the better to sell you something. Especially if you don’t even want it.
Hi Vince for Slapchop, Ha,ha,ha! That would be a scary 3d Hi Def commercial.
Now that can be true in so many ways.
Just like TV commercials, which are always 100% true.
Now thats interactive tv! 🙂
It’d be even better if the TV could deliver the goods to you as well. Then you wouldn’t even have to get up.

The advertisers must love you!
And I guarantee they’re still gonna keep showing that commercial so you’ll buy another one soon. 🙂
Yeah, they never seem to give us a break.
Ooo, creepy. Too much like Food, Inc.
All too soon our TVs will be watching us more than we’ll be watching them.
That Head On commercial made me crazy!

There are quite a few that have driven me crazy. Which may explain a lot.
