I tried that with my kids years ago. Problem was they LIKED sleeping outside with the wild animals. But poor Fraz looks like easy prey, so I think compromise was the smart move.
Everything has its cost, whether we like it or not. But generally, civility is much better than its alternative, even if it means we have to take baths once in a while.
I don’t know. Does the water look cold? I guess it’s not steaming, but we wouldn’t want to cook the little guy. He had enough of that in Too Many Cooks.
Reminds me of a little boy who stood firm in his belief that he could crap wherever he felt like it and someone else would take care of it. That little boy did spend one night on in the garage in the company of his “product”, and he’d still be there today if he hadn’t cleaned it up.
Funny I said the same thing to my pet chook!
And what did your chook say?
I don’t know what a chook is nor do I think I want to.
Chook is Aussie for chicken.
Hahahaha, I’m like Fraz too. I’m always compromising to civility 😉
It’s a tough world, but sometimes you just have to compromise for the good of others. Or yourself.
got to admire Fraz’s altruism – putting the wishes of others before his own self-interest 😉
Yes, that’s Fraz for you.
Bwahahahahahahah. Compromise is the key to staying inside too.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
That’s for sure! It’s scary outside at night.
Hahaha…
maybe Fraz can keep part of an ear a bit dirty (that way he might be able to bend without actually breaking).
🙂
That’s a great idea! I could be know as pirate Dirty Ear! Arrr!
“Hey, captain, did you know your ear is dirty?”
“WHAT WAS THAT? I CAN?T HEAR YOU! MY EAR IS DIRTY!”
That’s another good advantage. Can’t hear adults!
He’s been learning well for such a youngster. I wish my kids could take note. 🙂
I’d be happy to teach your kids for a very reasonable fee.
How many digits are we talking here?
How many digits have you got?
And note, he didn’t say babysit…that costs extra
Surely they could’ve given him a better alternatve like have a bath or eat lots of chocolate.
Have a bath or eat lots of chocolate? I’ll take the chocolate of course!
I wish you were my parent.
I tried that with my kids years ago. Problem was they LIKED sleeping outside with the wild animals. But poor Fraz looks like easy prey, so I think compromise was the smart move.
Kids can be unpredictable like that.
“Prey” is a scary word around here, especially for the little ones.
Damn the civility of civilization! Ha,ha,ha!
Everything has its cost, whether we like it or not. But generally, civility is much better than its alternative, even if it means we have to take baths once in a while.
But he doesn’t even look dirty……
It wasn’t the dirt so much as the smell. If odors were visible, you wouldn’t even be able to see Fraz.
He may have lost the battle against cleanliness, but he hasn’t lost the war! There’s always another day to get dirty!
And I’ll do my best to get as dirty as possible!!
Wow! Must have been a bad stink!
You could smell him to Timbuktu.
You can lead a wombat to water, but you can’t make him bathe! Unless you use the right incentive. Delightful strip!
If you use enough chocolate, you could probably get a Wombie to do anything.
It could be that Fraz is ahead of his time, and no one appreciates his forward thinking!
I totally agree!!
Did Fraz stay in the water till the water got cold?
I don’t know. Does the water look cold? I guess it’s not steaming, but we wouldn’t want to cook the little guy. He had enough of that in Too Many Cooks.
Now it’s starting to smell beter around here. 🙂
I think I smelled better before.
Reminds me of a little boy who stood firm in his belief that he could crap wherever he felt like it and someone else would take care of it. That little boy did spend one night on in the garage in the company of his “product”, and he’d still be there today if he hadn’t cleaned it up.
Sounds as if you knew him.
Whoa! That smell must have been bad since Winky covered his nose!
It’s a good thing the internet doesn’t transmit odors.
Imagine sleeping with the wild animals! Yikes!!! Yes, it is better to compromise….
Yeah, I thought so, to. I really didn’t want to get eaten.
You know Fraz…bathing isn’t that bad!! My sister and I take bath all the time 😉
I guess if I was a turtle I wouldn’t mind taking a bath, but I still wouldn’t like soap.
Agree!! I also hate soap
