That was my excuse, but since it’s February, and it looks like quite a heavy snowfall, I figured it’d be better to make the trees more decidedly non-deciduous.
Hilarious Peter. The WHY NOT combined with the “We don’t understand the problem” look on their faces just cracked me up. But then again cartoon characters can do anything & survive. I cite Wile E Coyote as a prime example…
Thanks, Tony. Sometimes it’s hard to know whether or not expressions or other subtle things come across online. Being a cartoon character would definitely have its advantages in situations like this.
I have actually always wanted to try that… the looks on fraz and winky’s faces are priceless 🙂
also, i think that the trees do look like evergreens 🙂
You wombats are welcome to come & sled over my way… there is plenty on the ground to cushion your landing… and if the roof is not exciting enough my back yard has been used in the past for skiing! ( by my son when he was just in 7th grade ) whooo, hoo!
I really did not know you wombies had to deal with snow?
You’d better brace for a Wombie invasion as they’re all headed your way with toboggans. They’re also bringing chocolate as a housewarming gift.
Native wombats in Australia do experience snow in the mountains, but we’re Wombies and have been transplanted to North America, so we know snow quite well.
If the snowfall was heavy enough they would just land in a snow drift and come up laughing. I hope they sneak out and try it again at night when Dave Seville is not looking. After all you can suspend the laws of physics in a toon anyway. Oh did I say Dave Seville? Sorry, that’s who he reminds me of.
Whew! Good thing the Wombies didn’t knock over the ladder as they scrambled onto the roof.
If they did, then the only way down would be the fun way!
Nice to see what the top of the house looks like, but I have one quibble: the trees in the background look like they still have leaves on them
What do you mean? They’re supposed to be evergreens. Okay, okay, I fixed it.
Maybe it was an early snow.

Why not? Bwahahahahahaha. I can think of a couple of reasons. What a hoot.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
You can? I can’t. Well, maybe I can. . .

I think a lot of people would like to try tobogganing off the roof, but obviously it isn’t recommended!
The trees look a lot more like evergreens after they were fixed.
I don’t think that would end well.
Perhaps if they wore parachutes?
They’re crazier than Hank! 😀
You made that scene look very realistic. I almost got vertigo just reading.
If Hank visited Wombania, or the Wombies visited Addanac City, we’d all be in trouble.
Thanks, George. The real sky (photo) background probably helps.
Daredevils! 🙂
If they could get away with it!

Oh Great!! I love chocolate too… they won’t eat it all up before they get here will they?
now where can I stock up on some wine gums for them?
They promised to eat none of the chocolate themselves, so they better arrive with a full load.
Don’t worry about providing wine gums, as they eat far too many of them at home. And despite what they may tell you, they won’t die without them.
That looks like fun, nott!
lol
I guess it depends on which side of the toboggan you’re on.
Hahaha – maybe there’s LOTS of snow down there (the nice fluffy kind, too)! 🙂
There would have to be lots considering the height. Or maybe a trampoline. Yeah, that should work.

It’d depend on the drop of course, but a shallower roof pitch would certainly make survivability much more likely.
Friggin Nanny State!!!!!
Someone’s got to protect us from ourselves.
OMG I’ve been censored , I feel special 🙂
Sorry about that. You are special, though, even if the censoring was done by my automatic filter.
I’ve had worse 🙂
Why not? Unbroken bones are overrated!
I guess that depends upon whose bones remain unbroken.
I had to come back & have another look at this one. I just love it.
Thanks, Tony. Just don’t look at it for too long or your might end up with frostbite.
I actually fancy having a go!
Well…maybe not…
You first! But you’d better wear a helmet.
