I was a literature major and that was pretty much how I judged the quality of the books I had to read. Animal Farm, The Old Man and the Sea and Heart of Darkness were timeless classics. I won’t repeat my opinions of Moby Dick or The Grapes of Wrath.
Heh! that’s one of the things I do worry about too..when I blog..the wordiness. Short poems are nice though..it’s a gift to convey meaning in few words 😛

LOL 😆 that’s one
way of saying it Winky…
Not exactly what a writer wants to hear, though!
Agreed.
You, too?
Sorry. I meant the poetry other than yours. I’m sure it’s very emotionally impactful and imagely rhythmic.
That’s the right answer if you ever expect to get any of my cakes or cookies!
Sometimes that happens.
Short is better.
Bwahahahahahahaha. Got both of his feet in his mouth and he can still talk plainly.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
Winky is an expert at that!
What Andro said…
I was just telling it like it was.
…and did that well.
Twink is kinda mad at me though.
Give her a box of chocolates.
That would be a really good idea.
LOL😂
I wish that was Twink’s reaction.
Sounds good to me.
Me too. The shorter the better!
I have this exact appreciation of all poetry!
I think most people do.
Short and sweet, just like Twink!
I wish I had said that!
LOL! I guess she is fond of Haikus!
I am!
Fraz stood on the burning deck
His pocket full of crackers

I bet they were chocolate crackers.
Ahh, poor Twink…
No one appreciates artistry.

The best poems and books are short! I kind of like picture books myself. Dr. Seuss is the best!
I wholeheartedly agree, but they wouldn’t let us study picture books at college.
Why not? Some picture books are really good. And you don’t have to spend forever reading them.
Heh! that’s one of the things I do worry about too..when I blog..the wordiness. Short poems are nice though..it’s a gift to convey meaning in few words 😛
Too many words make me all fuzzy. The shorter the better! Unless we’re talking about chocolate eating time.
an honest opinion 😉
It was! But sometimes honesty isn’t appreciated.
