TV Wasteland
You don’t have to look very far to find mindless drivel on TV these days.

He walked right into that one.
I really should learn.
Chris needs some interesting topics
to keep the Wombies interested, maybe
he should have mentioned chocolate? 🙂
Chris never talks about good stuff like that!
That happens to me sometimes too… ya say something sarcastic and the kids run w/it. 😉
Sarcasm is wasted on kids and Wombies.
You sure do hit reality in a delightful way.
As a side note, maybe the fortune cookie knows something I haven’t told my readers. Bon Voyage — I’m headed to Israel at an undisclosed time. 🙂
Thanks, Joyce.
That’s great, have a good trip! I need to find a fortune cookie like that.
What can you say, Wombies like TV! 😉
It’s way better than talking to Chris!
Yep, mindless you can find so easily on television. Bless their hearts.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
It’s difficult to find anything but mindless stuff on TV these days.
Sometimes I want to change people’s channels anyway.
That would be a very good power to have.
I thought Binky would rather have a conversation.
I’m sure my discussions don’t measure up to his expectations.
They never do Chris.
I need to console myself with some chocolate. If I can get my hands on any around here.
Maybe you could all compromise and have a mindless conversation instead.
I think most of our conversations have been heading toward mindlessness lately.
My Wombies hog up the TV. It’s a real battle over the remote between the hubs and the wombies
You need to get another TV, or throw some chocolate eggs in the other direction to distract them.
throwing eggs in the other direction sounds like a great idea….and cheaper!
It helps to have a few tricks when you have Wombies.
TV is mindless! But still… I watch my share of it. Sigh.
We all do, but some TV programs are less mindless than others.
The internet is much less mindlessness drivel unless you go to a mindless drivel webpage. I’m still unsure about my cartooning future. I got all enthusiastic for a day or 2 but now am back into a can’;t be bothered mood again. I think photography blogging is winning out over comic creation Peter. I just don’t have time for both. Unless I get another creative burst I’ve only got one Ignus Frump episode left to post now which will be up on Monday.
Oh & I changed my photo blog url & site name as I wasn’t happy with the name. Blogger lets you change url while keeping the same site which is convenient. Perhaps too convenient though for someone like me. Click my name…
Perhaps just a general blog is what you need. You could write posts, you could have your photographs, you could have cartoons. And you could do any or all of them, or anything else you fancy, whenever you like.
Aaaand yesterday I drew another episode… Maybe I shouldn’t make statements about decisions but just be quiet & roll with the flow. A general blog I think would annoy me. Remember when I was posting OTB & Old Codgers & random comics all together on one site. Having them mixed in one was too much for my OCDish brain to bear.
Oh, I had forgotten about that. I did enjoy your old blog with all its variety, though. Yes, maybe it would be best to just quietly stop and start cartooning, or whatever you want to do. And after a long while, if it really seems you have abandoned cartooning or whatever, then you could announce it. I think the problem is you are very creative, and need some sort of outlet for that energy, one way or another.
Good advice Peter. Thanks for your thoughts.
You’re welcome, Tony.
Yes, Tony, Peter is right. I started out with just an art blog, but now I post whatever I want in it. All I do is put things in categories, and or tags.
Reminds me of summer vacations. All the day time t.v. and nowhere to be.
I wish it was summer vacation!
It’ll be soon enough. And then we can catch up on all the soap operas. It’ll be so great!
You can watch soap operas if you like. But I wanna watch cartoons!
T.V. is more mindless now than in the past or maybe I’m showing my age. 🙂 It always seems to win though!
TV is almost nothing but mindless these days. And I don’t think it’s our age.
If only reality was as entertaining as reality shows
They should make a TV show of our family.
