I was helping a German boy yesterday with conversational English. He has to know different topics. One topic is the city of Liverpool. I’m sure you know this but I didn’t, it’s apparently where The Wombats come from.

The Wombats are that famous singing group that won’t talk to us normal Wombies. I guess they’re too rich and famous now. Liverpool is also where they invented liver & onions.
Oh, I thought they created liver in the pool.
They probably did! Liverpool & onions probably got shortened somewhere along the way.
