Did you do this just so you could model a fire extinguisher, or is it really Emergency Preparedness Month? I mean, I thought it was National Novel Writing Month! How can it be anything else?
Also, “besides scream”? You’re supposed to scream in an emergency you’re prepared for?
According to Sam Starfall you can only do that under Majority Rule: http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff100/fv00045.htm (the “panic” story arc starts with the previous strip, and lasts about 12 strips)
In an emergency they need to make sure they don’t forget chocolate. In such a situation proper nutrition is a must. Once you’ve got the chocolate safely procured it’s time to Run Away, Run Away!!!
I absolutely love the work you do with these cartoons. I initially thought you must’ve lived in Australia with a Wombat themed cartoon. Good job you’re doing, keep on making us Aussies proud.

Actually, the fire extinguisher was made for Binky’s spaceship.
I’m not sure about the novel writing designation, but I can assure you in Wombania it is National Emergengy Preparedness Month.
Screaming is not an required part of emergency training, however for some individuals it helps lower stress.
Emergency Response Instructions
When in doubt scream and shout, run about, let it all hang out!
The operative word being “run”. Run run run!

Okay, we’ll take a vote next time.
Never heard of the strip Freefall, but it’s quite entertaining.
Stop drop and roll right?
If you’re on fire, it’s the only thing to do.
Good one! 🙂

You’re right: in any emergency, chocolate is always the first requirement. You must be part Wombie!
Thanks, Tony. Yes, I’m a non-Aussie. But if a family of wombats wants to adopt me, I’d be willing to relocate.
