That’s the problem, there’s always more cake and chocolate to be eaten. Especially on Wombat Day!
I was reading an article online and I found this: “Earlier this year, an anonymous man left $8 million to an Australian nonprofit organization that specializes “in large-scale rescue and rehabilitation of the Southern Hairy Nosed Wombat.” After that incredibly thoughtful gift hit the news, Web searches on “what’s a wombat” surged from nil into the thousands.”

I had heard about the donation, and am acquainted with the person who runs the Wombat Awareness Organization (via Bean Bag on Facebook), but I didn’t know about the increased wombat searches. I checked my website stats for Sept 22 and 23, and my traffic spiked those days at three to four times normal. Thanks for Letting me know, Agent Moose!
And it is awesome that those wombats will be able to have a much larger area in which to safely live because of that generous donation.
