Idyllic Youth
The past usually gets better with the passage of time.
It’s only two weeks until Wombat Day! Still time enough to bake those wombat cakes and get everything ready for the big day!

Fond memories just get better with time.
The past does look better from the present.
I’ll have to do my Awww Monday with you in mind on the 22nd. I think I can pull that off.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
That would be great Sandee, thank you!
Twink, are you in demial?
I claim artistic license!
Well, every good story deserves a little embellishment…
It certainly does!
I’m with you, Twink. 🙂
Good one, Peter!
Thanks, Lauren.
Haha, don’t we all!
I sure do!
There’s nothing wrong
with fantasies Twink ☺
I prefer to think of it as a slight exaggeration.
So bright and peaceful… before I didn’t have a wife and kids… and in reality, I was lonely and didn’t have much peace anyways.
Well perhaps now you have peace of mind.
I have a lot of joy 🙂
That’s all that matters.
Memories are always sweeter (and possibly embellished) when we age. 😉 My grandfather was the master of embellishment. 🙂
The older we get, the more likely we are to embellish the past.
That’s how I live every day! Glass half full. I just can’t take a sip, then it’d be more on the empty side.
I couldn’t leave my glass half-full. It’d be way too tempting!
