the “bio” or “organic” carrots i get in my country are mostly sweet and tasty when eaten raw and unpealed,
unlike the non organic ones.

There does seem to be a wide variance in taste depending on where and how the vegetables are grown. But for those who hate their veggies, I guess it makes little difference.
