I do not know why. Math is fun.
I don’t have math problems, but I do have number problems. I am being ping-ponged between Medicaid and marketplace health insurance.
I got a job, and we had to get marketplace health insurance.
Our state raised the poverty level, and that kicked us back to Medicaid.
Wife got a raise, and they kicked us back to marketplace.
I was told I might lose my job in a month, and that will kick us back to Medicaid.
This is all in the span of a year.
Got any solutions, Binky? Any tips on not going crazy?
Very sorry to hear that, David. I’ve heard many stories about your American health insurance.
My solution would be to move to Canada. Every citizen and most residents get government health insurance which covers most things except dental and eye care. No deductible. No co-pay. No limits. Not tied to employment. It’s not perfect, and our current Ontario government is trying to destroy our public health care, but it’s still functioning. And generally pretty good, if a little slow.
I’ll start practicing my Canada National Anthem singing skills!
