Sorry guys, but my extensive mastery of mathematics (guffaw) leaves me in no doubt that the squiggly thing that looks like a “handle-less” trident in the third line should really be a squiggly thing that looks like a trident with a handle.
Oh well, it was worth a try. The truth is I am utterly appalling at mathematics. I only have to look at a number to begin shaking in terror. My eldest son is good at math, which neither my wife nor I can understand because we’re both so useless at it. Luckily, my younger son is there to uphold the proud family tradition.
I do conduct math tutoring classes, so perhaps I could cure your familial deficiencies as a group. They are entitled “Math is Fun”, though strangely few seem to agree with me on that point.
Yes but then you would
be giving Binky the lecture,
and doing a great job of
it too 🙂 Here, have these
Androfantastic wine gums,
and enjoy your day 🙂
Theories don’t need to be understood to make sense. Look at my ‘CIA Evasion by Random URL Shifting Theory’ as a classic example. You don’t need to understand it as I’m living & uncaptured proof that it works.

Binky looks at home in front of a chalk board.
I find chalk boards good for thinking.
Whoops, I thought it was the recipe for a Wombie chocolate cake 🙂
It better not be! I’d never be able to follow it!
Ah-HA! I thought so!!!
Good one Peter.
Thanks, Pam.
I believe what you have on the board is actually the Chocalitive Theory.
That is a theory I’m currently working on.
What a tease!
I prefer to think of it as the intrigue of the unknown.
that is taking me back to my worst years in High School! I still hate math
Perhaps I could teach you how to love math.
…But if someone erases the board, the universe will cease to exist. 🙂
No one touches my chalkboard!
I think I went to school there. 😉
I don’t remember you as a pupil.
That and don’t tell anyone you just made it up. Who would know? Not many.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
That is the best advice.
That’s the reason, Winky!
Binky won’t admit that he makes things up, though!
…Wombies that know algebra are like that. 😉
I think he just likes to show off sometimes.
Peter, is anything on that board real or did you just make it up… or course seeing how it is a theory you could’ve just made it up.
No, those are real formulae. I take it you’re not up on your differential calculus.
Calculus, is that anywhere near Calcutta, India?
I want you in my class tomorrow at 8:00 am sharp!
Sounds about right to me.
Me too!
Sorry guys, but my extensive mastery of mathematics (guffaw) leaves me in no doubt that the squiggly thing that looks like a “handle-less” trident in the third line should really be a squiggly thing that looks like a trident with a handle.
I double-checked my calculations, and I would have to respectfully disagree.

Well, I agreed completely with the first two words of your title. It was just the last one I had some problems with.
Maybe “Math is Magnificent” would be better received.
Binky looks like
he knows everything
there is to know
about the sciences,
and Winky, well
he just looks hungry
for chocolate, as
per usual 🙂 lol
If Binky expects to get my attention, he could at least write some chocolate equations.
Yes but then you would

I probably could give Binky a lesson or two about chocolate! And those are good wine gums!
You never fail
to please us with
your super creative
cartooning Peter 🙂
Have a great Tuesday 🙂
Thank you for your kind words, Andro.
You deserve much more
for your continued greatness
in the cartooning world of
Maestro’s 🙂 Have an awesome
Thursday my fine friend 🙂
Thanks, Andro 🙂
Funny thing is my buddy and I are talking about theory. Fun stuff!
The only theory I like to talk about is chocolate.
Yes, make it up! What average person would know the difference?
Not me! Thant’s for sure.

I guess you’re right! You are a master at that and no one’s stopped you yet!
Peter, you cartoon is awesome as always, and you math/algebra/calculus skills are amazing!
Thanks, Deb, but you’ll have to get Binky to explain this one to you.
Is Winky having a “Good Will Hunting ” moment?
His brain is probably hunting for some chocolate.
