You could have been talking about Germany because their goalie, Manuel Neuer is 40. They won their first game in the World Cup 7 to 1, I believe. They’re good, but not that good. Once they play somebody like France, his age may show up.
Are you watching the World Cup? It’s the only soccer (football, Fußball) I’ll watch.
Their goalie is 40? Wow, shouldn’t he be in a retirement home?
I don’t really watch any sports on TV. It’s kinda boring.
Soccer is really just 89:30 of boredom, so just avoid it.

I can imagine. Do kids read comic strips anymore? Certainly not in newspapers. A relaxing pasture sounds pretty good these days.
