Wombat Day 2014
The tenth annual Wombat Day celebration will be held in two days on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Luckily, Binky made it back from his moon expedition just in time to join his fellow Wombies. Wombat Day is held annually to honor wild wombats. It’s a day of chocolate, wine gums, fireworks, and good times. You can read more about it here.
Faythe, from Grammy Mouse Tails, added a Wombat Day post to her blog to kick off the celebrations.
Debbie Adams made a Wombat Day picture featuring her gang of adopted Wombies for the big day.
Tony, from Soar Like A Turkey, drew a Wombat Day horror comic for the occasion.
Sandee, from Comedy Plus, mentioned Wombat Day on her Wednesday’s Question blog post.
Andro posted about the annual Wombat Day celebration on his Gray Dawster blog.

And it’s a special Wombat Day edition of the First Commenters Super Extra Mega Deluxe Dark Wombanian Chocolate Trophy! So it’s even more desirable and delicious than normal.
I wonder if we will be getting an early slice of Wombat Day cake, I know that Twink will be making lots of goodies, and I also know that Fraz, Winky and Binky like to sample everything when Twink isn’t looking 🙂
Now where has Twink put those freshly made pancakes? I am positively famished today, even though I have just had my banana and bread for breakfast, oh and a nice hot cup of tea 🙂 Mmmmmmm lovely
Since it’s the tenth Wombat Day, we’re celebrating all week! It’s Wombat Week this year! So we’re having cake and pancakes and chocolate and wine gums every day!
