Happy Valley Picnic
If your park is happy, your picnic should be too.
Wombat Day, October 22, is less than a month away! Make sure you plan to celebrate the wombat with chocolate and wine gums this year. And a wombat-shaped Wombat Day cake is an excellent way to do it!
It’s Wombat Day ….wooohoooo
Wombat Day is actually October 22, but if you want to make it a month long celebration, none of the Wombies will object.
I celebrate it everday. OK, maybe just Mondays and Thursdays 🙂
That makes you an honorary Wombie! I hope you celebrate with chocolate!
You bet me to it Peter, I had a post ready to go on later today with this exact same message 🙂 I always look forward to Wombat Day as there are lots of special treats and goodies to be had 🙂 Yaaaaay
The more Wombat Day posts, the better! Of course, around here, just about every day is Wombat Day.
Of course. Chocolate is the staple diet of the Loon 😉
That’s my diet, too! Though Twink keeps telling me chocolate isn’t really a diet.
We are all chocolate
freaks around here Loon 🙂 xxxx
I’m not a chocolate freak! I’m a. . . well, okay. Maybe I am.
Happy Valley? Gummy bears must live there.
Gummy bears are happy until I eat them!
OMG , now it’s Death Valley 😯 Run Gummy Bears, run
I don’t think they really mind. They were made to be eaten!
Are there any gummy chocolate bears? 🙂
I don’t know. But I like chocolate marshmallow bears!
I like pancake chocolate gummy bears too, maybe you can start making those at your factory? 🙂 I know that I will buy some 🙂
How about pancake chocolate gummy bears in the shape of wombats?
I’m going to finally buy some wine gums and eat them on Oct 22nd. 😉
That’ll make you an honorary Wombie!
We will all help you to eat them Bill 🙂
Maybe he’ll invite us over for a Wombat Day wine gum party!
That sounds great, and I
will bring the party hats 🙂
I’ll bring some chocolate wombat chocolates! With extra chocolate on them!
Well they are happy because they have nothing to worry about. I love it.
I’ll be celebrating again this year. Any time there’s chocolate involved you’ll find me nearby.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
I’m glad to hear that, Sandee! It’s hard to resist a chocolate celebration.
Did you hear cocoa plant shortage so chocolate will go up in price next year
What? No way! I’m going to have to start stockpiling chocolate right away!
I will help you eat it too 🙂
I hope you’ll help me stockpile it first!
Absolutely I don’t
mind working on that idea 🙂
We better fill all my warehouses with chocolate as soon as possible so we don’t run out!
I saw and unhappy park once. It was full of winos bums laying around. The city got rid of them though. Now it’s a happy park…as they all should be.
That does sound like an unhappy park. I’m glad our valley is happy!
It was. It was way out on the west coast in a big iky city!
I’m glad you have a happy Valley park too!
I’m gonna give it some chocolate so that it’s even happier!
wombat Day already! Yay! 🙂
Well, next month. But I’m starting to celebrate now!
I don’t blame you! Parties are fun, and the goodies are better!
And a whole month of goodies are wombtastic!
I’ll help you get started by dropping off this sheet pan of chocolate eclairs!
Oh boy! I love chocolate eclairs! Thanks, Deb!
Yes we do don’t we Winky 🙂
That’s for sure!
Happy Valley has no taxes and home values are through the roof! Also, it’s a peaceful, nice neighborhood.
That’s like my neighborhood, except the taxes part! I have retirees living all around me. Nice, quiet folks.
No taxes would make my valley very happy. And as for quiet folks, I have a houseful of Wombies!
You are a lucky guy Chris, everyone says so 🙂
Everyone who doesn’t have Wombies of their own!
I think they are going to have a good time. Wombat Day sounds like a good day to celebrate.
Picnics are always a good time! And Wombat Day is even better! Chocolate, wine gums and wombats! You can’t beat that!
That’s a great way to look at it. Have fun at the picnic.
We will! Picnics are always fun!
It hasn’t had you two yet!
Are you saying it’s gonna try to eat us??
There is nothing like a happy valley, especially when it is picnic time 🙂
Picnics make me happy! They probably make the valley happy too!
No, it has a lot of things to worry about. There’s littering, the risk of being destroyed, and who knows what else.
I’ll protect it then! Who would want to destroy such a nice park?
It’s a park with a spirit. Whew! Good thing it’s happy. You wouldn’t want to a park like “You never can leave park.” That’d be creepy.
That’d be a scary park! I wouldn’t want to go there!
I too want to go there.
Please take me too. 🙂
Sure you can come along too Indrani! A picnic is always fun!
Who wants to go to Mildly Amusing Park, anyway?
Not me! But it might be better than super scary evil park!
That would be a boring life, err, death, err, never was.

But it’d be happy!
Hey look at there! That’s a great way to celebrate. 🙂
Chocolate and wine gums is always a good way to celebrate! Especially Wombat Day!
Yayyyy can’t wait for Wombat Day 🙂 at least there’s a good thing in October. You know how much I hate fall. 😉
Wombat Day is the highlight of fall! Well, I guess the Wombies like Halloween, too, with all the free candy they can get.
I should start acting more like a valley.
It might be rather comforting.
There’s a Happy Garden in the city I live in…think it might be a little less happy with the state of affairs there…and I’m in Lucky Gardens..I’ll let you know what she thinks about the lucky thing 😉
Maybe someone should give happy gardens a surprise birthday party to make it more happy. Birthday parties make everyone happy! Well maybe not old people.
Except those organizing it 😛 Hehehe.
They’re probably the old people.
I guess valleys don’t have phone & electricity bills, credit cards, family problems & employers to worry about. Bays on the other hand… When we lived in Brisbane there was a beachside suburb called Deception Bay. Everyone referred to it as Depression Bay.
Wombat day has returned with much haste. Doesn’t seem that long since the last one
I think your Pelican Bay sounds a whole lot friendlier than Depression Bay or Deception Bay. I don’t think I’d trust anyone from Deception Bay.
It’s hard to believe, but Wombat Day is closing in on us fast. Only 23 days until the great and wondrous event!
I would love to go to a relax park right now. I am overworked and very tired.
You should come to my beach and have some pizza and milkshakes!
