Technicaly Correct
Just because you’re technically correct, doesn’t mean you’re right.
Wombat Day is one week from today, on Thursday October 22! Make sure you have enough chocolate and wine gums on hand because no one wants to run out on the the most chocolaty day of the year. If you make a wombat cake, send us a picture and we will post it on our new wombat cake gallery page.

Oh dear Binky, I think
sometimes you should
bite your tongue before
offering your genius 🙁
You are a wise Wombie for sure 🙂
Yes, I believe you are correct with that advice.
Thank you for adding my
drawing from 2012 Peter,
I think we will be needing
more chocolates and cake
for the big day 🙂
Winky will be very busy
creating his magic recipes
I am certain of that 🙂
You’re welcome, Andro.
No matter how much chocolate we have, we always need more for Wombat Day.
Have an awesome Thursday Peter
and don’t forget to give the Wombies
a generous supply of Wambo Spambo
burgers, and lots of chocolate treats
to finish off with, naturally 🙂 lol
You too, Andro. And no, I won’t forget to keep my Wombies full of goodies. It’s the only way to keep them out of trouble.
Facts make a lot of people feel uncomfortable.
They certainly do.
Binky, what were you thinking saying such a thing to Twink at such a beautiful moment?
I was just trying to be scientifically accurate.
I know, but Twink was having a moment.
Boy, was she ever!
I remember that artwork of Andro’s for Wombat day. I still love it!
The Wombies look like they were having fun in Andro’s piece.
Andro always has lot of good treats for the Wombies!
He does! Hopefully he gets some good treats himself.
Peter, you have the best comic on the web!
I don’t know about that, but thank you, Deb.
I know. 🙂
🙂
To be technically correct, bashing a box that says “fragile” over a wombat’s head, isn’t a fragile move.
It was also a move that I didn’t anticipate.
Sometimes you have to let the sun set. 😉
Yes, I believe you are correct.
I agree that being technically correct is not always good. Not in this case anyway.
I’ve got to get a post ready for next week.
Have a terrific day. 🙂
I think that will be a hard thing for me to remember.
Oh well Binky you sure are a hightech fella.
And very wrong, apparently.
I love Andro’s drawing!
Sometimes to be “right” you have to play to the crowd.
Binky- you forget everyone doesn’t think “smart” like you! But just be who you are and we’ll keep laughing.
Gotta get my chocolate ready for the big day!
Andro has done a lot of fun drawings for us over the years.
I have come to the conclusion people don’t always want the scientific explanation of things.
So does the sun come up tomorrow …or is the song wrong too?
Of course, the song is also wrong, but you didn’t hear that from me.
I imagine that Binky got shards of glass in his fur because that box said “fragile”
The box was empty, luckily.
Technically you are both correct.
Yes, but I’m the one who got clobbered.
I don’t want to be technically correct, do you?
I’m having second thoughts about it.
Oh dear, you kind of spoiled the moment there Binky! Never mind, we all live and learn (and you learn more than most of us).
By the way, I’m looking forward to Wombat Week, but it won’t change my lifestyle much since I already celebrate most days with chocolate.
Yes, I learned that this was not the moment for scientific enlightenment.
We celebrate most days with chocolate as well, but how many days do you celebrate with a wombat cake?
That’s a good point. I see, but the way, that for some reason I typed Wombat Week by mistake. I guess you could have seven days of cake.
That’s okay, I like Wombat Week seven times better than Wombat Day!
Would have been safer to keep quiet and enjoy the rotation! 🙂
Most definitely.
Sometimes being practical is not practical.
It is difficult to be purposely impractical.
I’m really tired now so I’m going to cheat and agree with Andro’s first comment. 🙂 And I love the artwork, too! There are always lessons to learn, Binky, so don’t worry about it.
Yes, especially when emotion is involved.
Deb always comes up with something nice.
Womenjust don’t appreciate the scientific mind. And now you have a lovely box jacket.
That is very true. Do you think the box jacket might come into fashion any time soon?
