We are accent free up here in the Great White North. It’s only others that mangle the English language with an accent.

I worked with a Canadian once when I was 20.
We were putting tube water slides together and I was the unlucky one of being put inside it.
He kept telling me to move the tube oooot!
I asked him if he was okay.
Him: OOOOT!
Me: Are you okay?
I told him I thought he said ouch. I thought he hurt himself.
He then proceeded to make fun of my Oklahoma accent.
That was kind of jerky.
This site changed my view of Canadians.
Glad to know there are plenty of Canadians/wombies who are good folk 🙂
PS: A French Canadian performed the sonogram of my son last year… in Oklahoma. Really nice guy.

Yeah, we Canadians can be as good or as bad as just about anyone. I think the accent you’re talking about is from down east, Nova Scotia and those parts. “Eh” is pretty much standard throughout the country. Typical Canadian talk would be something like this:
“When you’re out, pick me up a double-double, a pack of timbits, and a two-four, eh?”
With your example I have no idea what you said.
We like to speak like that around Americans to confuse you.
A double-double is a coffee with double cream and double sugar. Timbits are basically doughnut holes from Tim Hortons, our leading doughnut & coffee shop. A two-four is a 24 case of beer.
Ach so!

I think it should depend on the weeding occasion.
Some weeds can be kind of formal looking.

Except for those really hot days.
Oh! And the days it rains.
Gardening is more fun than getting married.
But weddings have some really good treats!
yeah and people marry for treats and then the treats disappear and all we are left with are weeds …..oh I am going to write a very sad dark poem about a Zombie who married and then horrible things happened like he was killed
That sounds like one of our zombies! We have lots of zombies around here. You can have some of ours if you need any for ideas or anything.
I have arranged for ten Zombies to try suits on, just in case Soma needs them for later, one of them is said to be as handsome as Brad Pitt, so he must resemble Frankenstein or something 🙁 Eeeeuw

Well I’m late to the party, again, as usual so I guess I missed the weeding and the wedding. I might as well just go fishin’. My wife told me the mower needs fixin’….I thought she said “You need to go fishin’.” I get in a lot of trouble like that too.
Fixing and fishing could easily be the same word! And one is a lot more fun than the other!
Oh, and the wedding wasn’t really much fun. Just boring. Good treats, though!
