Expect Nothing
The easiest way to be more satisfied is to lower your expectations.
Debbie Adams’ newly adopted Wombie, Buzz, had fun playing in the snow after the latest snowstorm to hit the region. More about Buzz’s adoption can be found on Debbie’s Buzz post on her blog.
Ah!! Fraz should say that to all parents 😉
Yeah then everyone would be happier!
Indeed. Then I don’t have to face up parents who claim that their kids should have got higher grades
Everyone’s smarter than their grades!
You will be a great parent, Farz 🙂
I think I’d rather have a dog!
Lowered expectations leads to less chance of disappointment. Twink needs to learn that lesson then you’d be better off Fraz.
Nice Rocket Binky!!!
Twink doesn’t like it when I’m right though!
Thanks, Tony. It’s my X-4 two stage prototype for high altitude photography.
That’s good advice there Fraz!
Very good advice!
I think so! But adults don’t listen to us kids!
I have that same trouble, Fraz!
Adults are usually too busy or something to listen to us most of the time.
kids!
Adults!
Good point, expecting less is best.
I think so!
I expect the most, so I get about half!
Half’s better than nothing I guess.
Well that kind of logic is wasted on girls. Bwahahahahahahaha.
Have a fabulous day. 🙂
Especially Twink!
I think I had the same conversation with my wife about a friend of hers who isn’t so supportive
I bet she didn’t listen too!
What! Bearman has advice?
Maybe he was happy because he ate some wine gums that day!
I felt this same logic was lost upon my teachers as well regardless of their sex. W.C.C.
You’re right! It doesn’t work on teachers either!
You’re right! I’m a teacher and it doesn’t work on me!
I’ll have to try to think of something better then!
hmm, what a marvellous way of looking at it Fraz… I’d take my hat off to you, (If I was wearing one of course!!) 😀 xPenx
I think I want you to look after me!
Girl are pretty tough to convince one their bent on their way.
That’s for sure!
That my little guy up there you posted, thank you for that.
Everyone should adopt a Wombie!
If everyone adopted a Wombie that’d be a lot of Wombies I could play with!
You’ll have 6 to play with this summer. Most though, me, Shadow, and Chewy….Dink’s always eating.
You guys will be enough! We’ll have lots of fun! The others can join us when they want to.
When I said things like that as a kid I was seen as a smarty pants.
I think Fraz thinks one should really lower their expectations. No smarty pants intended.
If people lowered their expectations they’d be a lot happier! And so would I!
If people lowered their expectations…we would see world peace within the next few years 🙂
And all because of me! Yay!!
Them are fighting words! >:-(
Maybe you need to eat some chocolate.
Less fighting….more chocolate 🙂
That’s what I like to say! Less everything and more chocolate!
I love that logic. (unless it were someone I know saying it of course)
Smart people like logic! That’s what Binky always says!
Hhmmm… Fraz has a good point. I’d be a lot happier if I expected less of our government “leaders”.
Expect nothing!
That could be my new slogan when I run for president!
Oh, Fraz! You would win by a landslide!
I hope so! I didn’t do very well in the last election. I’ll have to change my posters https://www.wombania.com/top-secret-files/fraz-for-president.htm
If you expect NOTHING from me, you’ll be 100% satisfied 🙂
That works for me too!
Expect nothing, get more than you expected, walk away happy? 🙂
Exactly! Maybe you could explain that to Twink.
Expectation is overrated.
Especially if it’s about me!
Low expectations keep one from being disappointed.
You’re smart! And logical!
Wow, Fraz has the best advice that we all should live by…it’s not always easy, though! Great job, Peter! 🙂
Thanks, Lauren. I guess we should apply that to our politicians, too.
That would probably be a smart thing to do! 🙂
It would improve their ratings!
Don’t worry Fraz I’m sure that Twink will understand your logic one day, and when she does everything will become clear 🙂
I dunno Twink never seems to understand me!
In time she will, and then we can throw a lavish beach party, actually we can do that anyway, and as usual I will bring the party hats 🙂
I’m down on the island with aunt Deb so we can have a beach party right now! Even if it is a bit cold.
Sorry for my late arrival Peter, but what a fantastic cartoon sketch, the expression on Twink’s and Binky’s faces are priceless 🙂
Have a truly wicked rest of Tuesday Peter 🙂
Thanks, Andro. Fraz always keeps everyone off guard.
This is an excellent painting of Buzz Deb, he is certainly enjoying himself in the snow 🙂 Awesome…
Deb’s painting is very nice. But I’m glad the snow is gone!
Yes I am sure that you are Peter, there wasn’t any snow in my town this year so a very mild winter for a change 🙂
But it did rain an awful lot 🙁
We probably got a normal amount of snow, but it was so cold that very little melted during the winter. You’re lucky that you weren’t in one of the flood zones.
Fraz wisdom “Expect nothing” equals the Buddha’s wisdom! Cheers Fraz 🙂
Really?? I didn’t know I was that smart!
What a rational miscreant!
Hey that sounds like an insult!
Aim low, shoot low.
It works for me!
I want to know more about that shiny rocket he’s polishing. It looks promising.
It’s part of my Wombania Missile Defense Plan. There are evil people out there who may try to break into our chocolate vault.
Fraz is so right! We always disappoint ourselves when we expect things from others…and put high lofty expectations on ourselves too…sigh..
The less you expect the happier you are!
I’m pretty happy!
lol
🙂
Hmmm I love you Fraz but I have to root for my girl here!!! Girl power.
And I need the support. Thank you, Cha!
