The Early Worm
It’s not always best to be the first one up.
Our British friend Andro was generous enough to give Fraz the Frazipod he had always wanted. Fraz was overjoyed. You can see Andro’s original sketch on his Monday Morning Wombie Update post.
So, everybody who will make a comment, are you a worm or a bird?
I consider myself more like the worm. I get up early enough but I think I’d be better off if I just stayed in bed. 😉
I get up too late to even care. I attribute it all to low t levels. They sap energy. So I am a fatigued worm.
Low t levels? Maybe you need more chocolate!
I wish that was what fixed it! 🙂
Chocolate fixes just about everything for Wombies!
I’ll vote for that!
I’m a not so early Wombie!
I am usually up early too,
but I think that I would be
the hungry seagull so best
be careful worm-like peeps
or you could be next 🙂 lol
I’m glad I’m a Wombie and not a worm!
It’s true. 50% of that story don’t come out well.
The worm has a different perspective on the story.
Very good point. 😉
Why, thank you.
Well, I’m not first so no worm for me. I’m not going to be the worm either.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
It’s best not to be the worm in any case.
HAHAHA Wiser words have never been spoken. Poor early worms!
Apparently the worms fail to see the error in their ways.
Poor worm didn’t have a chance!
Not once he came out of his hole in the ground.
Love the Frazipod. Andro is so creative! 🙂 xx
Andro definitely comes up with some original ides.
Thank you Peter, I wonder
what I will think of next 🙂
I wonder too! Maybe something with me in it!
Thank you Deb, it’s not
a great drawing at all but
it was fun nonetheless 🙂
Enjoy your Tuesday 🙂 xxx
Having fun is the purpose of drawing. 🙂 xxx
🙂
Thanks Peter 🙂
So what you’re saying is that sleeping in and being lazy actually pays off. Cup half full!
In some case, sleeping late seems to have its advantages.
Yes. If you’re a bird be an early bird, but if you’re a worm . . . sleep late.

I could not have said it better myself.
The early Loon catches the chocolate…just saying
Yes, the early commenter here catches the super duper deluxe dark Wombania chocolate first commenter’s trophy!
Just email it to me.
You should get it soon.
Not if the earlier Andro
catches the chocolate first
she doesn’t 🙂 lol xxx
Them’s fighting words!
LOL Andro, you would have to get up pretty early to beat you to chocolate….just saying xx
Andro even beats me!
This is a great looking
cartoon strip Peter, I especially
like the seagull and the
shadow work that you have
added 🙂 Really cool work that
my fine friend 🙂 Fraz is all
ears listening to Binky also
and so it’s a big thumbs up
from me Peter 🙂
Have a fantastic Tuesday
and watch out for low flying
famished seagulls, or else? 🙂
Thank you, Andro. The seagull definitely was the winner in this encounter.
Thank you for adding my
quick sketch of Fraz with
his new Frazipod gadget 🙂
He certainly looks better
here on your site I think 🙂
Thanks for giving it to me, Andro! It’s really cool and no one else has one!
In the bird world, it’s good to say, “I’ve got worms!”
And it’s also good to share them.
Chocolate worms that is all I want to see mind you love Andro’s amazing design and painting
They make gummy worms, so we should be able to get Winky to make some chocolate worms at his chocolate factory.
Well this is good to know. Most of us in my house are morning people, my teen daughter definitely is not. 😉
Fraz looks superheroeyhandsome.
As long as you’re early birds and not early worms, you’re good. Teen are usually not either.
Yay me!!
Not sure I fancy the worm. I might eat the bird.
The worm would welcome that.
Poor worm. I guess the lesson is too not wake up early 😉
Especially if you’re a worm!
True.
But sometimes I also don’t want to wake up early…on Monday
I have that problem too!
I am sure the Wombies are early birds too but only to raid the cookie jar.
You’ve got that right! Especially when they’re chocolate chip cookies!
Wombies are early birds too but only to raid the cookie jar.
That’s the best reason to get up early!
Worm and fuzzy, it ain’t!
Worm and feathery perhaps?
I used your sharing buttons & tweeted your bird
Thanks, Tony! I hope you got a worm for that. Or maybe something better.
I’m an early bird, so thankful for that! 🙂
Just make sure you avoid the hungry birds.
